Well... I think that in original organ was lead instrument, guitar (compared to organ) just backin' instrument. The Shads obviously wanted to put Hank & Bruce (and jokes, in evry live performance) in front. So that's whay there is this subtle, airy sound of synth

Nothin' wrong with this version. Good cover. Sounds close to the original (I bought the single). Let's face it: It's not the hardest song in the world to play... but it's just plain fun to listen to when it's done right. And they do it right! Nice Job! The only improvement would be the sound of a Hammond B3 instead of whatever it is they're using. That just doesn't have the same "full" feel to it.

what about the drop to Cminor and all the other simple but oh so difficult chord changes and the key change to F? This just sounds like they were short on numbers and decided to throw in something easy! Sorry lads, I love the shads and always will do, but this is the just a line of least resistance
