The phoenix light rail grand opening was packed. The line to ride the train was about three hours. I am suprised how many people came out. We will see how long the excitement last.
The Phoenix Metro Light Rail opens Dec 27th they estimate 200,000 people will ride it opening weekend. There is going to be exhibits, bands, car shows, etc at each stop. Rides will be free til the end of the year.

How crowded will it be on the trains after ball games, either the Suns or the Dbacks?
Even today, it was pretty crowded in the early afternoon going eastbound from Phoenix.
