That's not how I wanted it to end. They both came so far to get themselves back to civilization and they both suffered so much............to end it like that was just not right.
Just a question: how in the hell could a Life issue be found at Japan at the end of the war???? USA Marines have brought it? Wow! What a wonderful Logistics!
Saw as kid like Mobeyk and after a lot of years I remember all the scenes. Wonderfull like the voice that an Italian actor gave to Lee Marvin on the Italian version.
A lot going on here. Two cultures meet and have to examine their beliefs. They find that they immediately have survival goals in common. Foor, water, shelter and existence become paramount. Culture begins to fade. Then, two heads are better than one thinking prevails and the raft is built. Together they fight the elements each giving all he has. They finally overcome all and reach a common ground. Then, insanity kicks in. they start to relearn what they have unlearned. Why? Such is mankind.
