Makes light work of Lichfield St up to Hanley Bus Station. The latter resounding at one time to Perkins V8 fitted Daimler Roadliners, and the even more exotic Cummins V6 version. Looking forward to the Aston Manor and Wythall running day on May 31st - when apparently the Cummins powered Wolverhampton Roadliner is used in service.... Can't wait!
Thanks for posting! My memories of the Perkins V8 was in SELNEC's Seddon Plaxton Elite coaches, and they were very fast machines.
