funny because it's true. my 360 got the RROD at about 12:30 AM, April 29th, 2008. I had just gotten home after picking up GTA IV at the midnight release, so excited to play. I had been waiting for 4 years for this moment, and what do i get? RROD!!!! out of desparation i tried the towel trick, and it didn't work. so i had to send my 360 away for 2 weeks. then i just the game for my ps3.
this video makes sence... when you give air for it to ventilate and clean dust from it and not throwing joystics to it when you cannot ge trough some levels of some games, it works fine...
Nice... Banjo Kazooie and St. Elmo's Fire. I'm doing the reverse however, trying to pull my 360 back from the grave, something Microsoft is trying to make as annoying and difficult as possible.

Exactly. Warranty for repair of the RROD (assuming you bought your console new) lasts 3 years from the date of purchase.
