  • As crazy as it may seem, a lot of music that I came to LOVE, I first heard between progams on SEB (Naples). It's where I first heard "Summer Madness" by Kool & the Gang; "Always There" by Ronnie Laws; "Machine Gun" by the Commodores; "NightCrusier" by Deodato; LOTS of Earl Klugh (namely "Right From the Start" and "Just Pretend"); "Blackwater Gold" & "Shotgun Shuffle" by KC & the Sunshine Band...a lots of other funky-groovy stuff I hunted down as an adult esepcially HERE on YOUTUBE!!!

  • Hmm...This is just before they switched to the Red, White and Blue motif during their "between programs" bumper. We were Naples (second tour) from December of '83 and September of '90. What I wouldn't GIVE to see a clip of the "energy rapper". LOL

  • I MISS THIS

  • 12:05 SOUL TRAIN!!

  • I used to watch SEB when living in Naples, Italy. Hearing the music for this logo was like traveling in a time machine. It's been years.

  • At the end of the broadcast, they always show the national anthem, do you also have that on video, and can you upload that?

    thx, : )

  • Thanks NW.. never heard of it before the Blazers pregame shows. I miss the days of Clyde, Terry, Buck, Bill Schonely, Franz Blazers cards, etc.

  • That theme playing was from the old Portland Trailblazers pre-game show in the late '80s/early '90s! Good times..

  • It's "Courtship" by Bob James.
