I don't know If you know this but blazes won't drop blaze rods if there on fire you need to kill them when there not on fire to get blaze rods.

Also, I never mention anything about blaze spawning, seeing as I've never dabbled in the matter. If you have any other discrepancies with me, please do tell me so that I may remedy them.

Spawners spawn anywhere in a 3 block diagonal space of them, and they spawn up to 4 blocks away in the corner where both coordinates go down. That makes 7 by 7, not 8. And a 2 block high area is fine rather than four because spawners can't spawn half of a blaze.

You would need torches in all of those spaces, it's easier to just fill it up with blocks and break a block when you want a blaze to spawn. Then you can even control how many blazes you want to fight easily.

Also, Divine Agent, its not an 8 x 8 x 4, its a 7 x 7 x 2.

Light does stop them from spawning, but you need a torch in every block within an 8 x 8 x 4 area around it. Look up Etho's video to explain it.

@divineagent Not on every block. Every OTHER block. So you can only have one space between torches. Example below:

T = Torch and E = Empty space.

If you were to place your torches like that, it would be 100% safe. :)

Hell, yes! Bogota! And potions aren't convoluted. They're just end game supplies. First tear is up to diamond, second tear is enchanting, and third tear is potions.

@wjmiller132 No, they really aren't. Most of the potions are useless or unnecessary. Every useful potion starts with an awkward potion (which is just netherwart). Sugar = speed; glistening melon = health; ghast tear = health regen; magma creme = fire resistance. Gunpowder and redstone enhance by allowing the potion to be thrown and increasing the duration, respectively. That's all you need to remember.

What about potion of harming? they're useful.

A health potion or poison potion mixed with a fermented spider eye gives them. Then add glowstone and gunpowder and you have a 'grenade'. 6 hearts of damage.
