  • like "congressional republicans" on facebook

  • Paul Ryan forever!!

  • I for one am tired of these mooching elderly slack asses. Euthanasia not medicare is the answer. Paul Ryan will bring us there! First the elderly, next... we eliminate social security. Excellent.

  • And keep cutting programs for Veterans, Ryan!

  • @SGhockeychika4 They have to had husbands that payed in and how many pay in all thier lives and die before drawing benifits? A bunch and the goverment doesn't give that money to the family. So you are still wrong and kinda sound young and uneducated or just confused...

  • @SGhockeychika4 NO, only people who have paid in are eligible for benefits. SS is insurance not welfare. You are buying into media propaganda, the money was dumped into the general fund and squandered by greedy politicians. If it had of remained seperate it would have always remainded solvent. Me and millions of others have already paid in for years...So, screw your opinion, I want my money back that was taken from my pay every time without exception!

  • Please run in 2012! Paul Ryan for president!

  • Social Security is taken over your life as an insurance, its not our fault you spent the money and now claim SS is somehow an entitlement. FU Paul Ryan, you only support physical discipline if it is cuts to spending for the poor.

  • PAUL, YOU HOT!!!

  • I feel sorry that Paul Ryan proposal is not being accepted from the other ... why not work together for the good of the country and the folks ?

  • LIVE FROM NEW YORK, ITS SATURDAY NIIIIIGHT!

  • Paul, the people listened to you. The vote Nov 2010 was their response. Your concern and frustration shown on this video is the same felt by many Americans. The sleeping giant has awoken. Now it is Nov 2012 and I am sure the Democrats will fuel that fire also. They can not help themselves.

  • God bless Paul Ryan!

  • Paul Ryan is a GOD!!!

  • Hah, is this guy for real? All theatrics, all pomp and show. Aren't you suppose to work rather than give bombastic lecture on YouTube? Standing in front of where he works, points out how evil the whole place is while ironically working there, poses for his picture for gullible people to droll over his idiocy then call it "common sense".

  • @ghordan

If you want to be consistent, when the Republicans are in the majority, you will condemn every Democrat who continues to work in Congress.

  • @bobparis No you dummy, it's not about who is in majority or who is in minority. His action is imbecilic. I was criticizing his tosh and drivel on this particular video. He is a blowhard just like everyone else.

  • @ghordan If you don't like it you should move out of this country...same logic loser.

  • @BurnieB How about I stay here and kick you out? Now take a hike.

  • He'd have my vote

  • his hair bothers me.

  • My name is Paul too. I kinda like the idea (President Paul). Ok Ok Ok allready, President Ryan, yea yea yea I know I know.

  • Wow it's awesome how this guy simply doesn't want kids to be covered by healthcare...what an evil monster. Paul Ryan is a nothing!

  • We're all looz's now...

  • looza

  • For liberty, turn right

    Tyranny, turn left

  • @bdunklau Amen, brother! God help Obama and his cronies. They're screwing America. Hopefully, at the very least, when President Hussien leaves office America will learn its lesson and actually learn about the person they voted for. America I beg of you, be informed. Geez.

  • He will be president someday. I say sooner, rather than later.

  • @JackBlair2 : HA! Pahhleeezzeee !! He is no different than any other carbon copy "big interest" fuck of a politician -- and his reliance on sheep like yourself is key to keep the global cabal agenda going

  • Paul Ryan is a god!

  • You are all morons...losing your freedom? The guy wants to provide the nation with HEALTHCARE. I guarantee if your freedom was being sacrificed, you would know. The government should take care of its citizens. Also facists are on the political extreme of republicans not democrats, that would be communists FYI.

  • Yeah and everybody that doesn't get it insurance is going to either face high monetary penalties or jail time. Loosing their freedom to choose whether or not they want to buy a service. I'm uninsured, I'm making a choice not to buy health insurance right now. I will not have the government forcing me to purchase something I don't want. You're a sheep willing to give away the freedom of your fellow countrymen.

  • @necares Are liberals all this stupid? You cannot be a fascist if you favor a smaller limited government. Fascists want total government control.

  • Paul Ryan is blithering about nonsense here. essentially he doesn't believe that every human has a right to good healthcare. I hope his baby gets sick and he gets voted out and sued and then cannot get good care for his child, then he would change his mind rather quickly. Douchbag is synonymous with this guy!

  • No one has a Natural Right to heath care.

  • It's not a right. Healthcare is a good/service that is bought. Rights are something you cannot buy. You cannot buy the right to breathe air. Or buy the right to freedom of speech. Or the right to life...etc. A right is something that cannot be bought. Know the difference.

  • So is police protection a right? Is the fire department protection?, how about the right to heat and electricity? We pay for those but they are government run? I think the idea of RIGHT has to be redefined. A country has a duty to take care of its citizens plain and simple. seeing as the people of this country are paying for the uninsured anyway indirectly it's cheaper to get a national healthcare system in place.

  • The government does not provide heat or electricity, so what the heck are you talking about? The country is already taking care of its citizens and it can take better care of its citizens by staying out of our lives and forcing us to purchase something we don't want.

  • "it's cheaper to get a national healthcare system in place."

-- What is it with yall continuing to call this expensive system "cheap"? Mass. is going bankrupt because of that system. The U.K. and Canada are spending massive amounts of money for a national healthcare system. So spending massive amounts is your definition of "cheap"?!

  • @srp3 What rock are you living under? You cannot buy the right to freedom of speech? you think freedom is free? Go live alone off the grid and then you don't have to pay any taxes...enjoy.

  • I'm not going to try to defend the health care bill but, in general, I'm curious what Representative Ryan would say to those who can't afford HC costs other than the Repubs having a different plan. Does he think those Americans would consider themselves as government moochers? It's not like they are trying to get free TVs. They are sick. Would he talk to them about their dependence on the government and how that is not the American dream or idea as if they are not trying?

  • @twistfinger is trying to use "Sanction of the victim"

  • I've never heard of "sanction of the victim" but after googling it, I see you've read Ayn Rand (I haven't). So I can't say whether or not I'm trying to use that. My point is that there are lots of people out there (I don't know any) who just cannot afford health insurance even though they try. And regardless of whether or not you and I subsidize their care, do you think those people should be lectured about the American dream while they are desperate and have no other options?

  • Somone can't afford insurance.. so automatically the obvious solution is an Anti-Constitutional , Anti-American federalized subsidization?

    Puh lease.

    Idea: Rejected.

  • That is still not my point. Consider the idea that subsidizing health care is completely off the table. Do you still not think that there is something kinda crappy about preaching to people who are sick who can't afford health care and can't get any about the American way or the free market even though they are working?

And it's not my idea to give them health care. I'm just asking a question. I, personally, don't see how we can afford to give those 40+ million any coverage right now.

  • The issue is simply out of scope for the Federal level.

How anyone translates that into a total lack of ability of States, Cities, Counties, Communities, Neighbors, Families, Churches (you know.. the places where this sort of help traditionally came from) to handle the issue baffles me.

We're a Federal Republic. Congress Art I Sec 8 powers are very limited. Amendment X handles the rest.

  • Because we don't want to be turned into government slaves. And we're not sick. As a matter of fact I'm in better health than most rich people who are insured.

  • Is it possible for you to explain to me how this leads us to being government slaves in more than just 2 steps please? Slippery slopes don't work on me.

  • In the healthcare bill the government mandates that those without insurance must purchase insurance or else enroll in government healthcare, people who choose to do neither either face terrible fines or possible jail time. In other words you can't choose to not be insured cause the penalties are so high. Your choice has been eliminated and your freedom lost. What other group of people have no choice or freedom? --slaves.

  • First, the mandate says you either must get insurance or pay a tax unless exempt (determined by IRS). I bet if slaves had the option to work the fields all day or pay a tax, they would pay a tax. Slaves don't have choice though.

Second, even if you do have to pay a tax on something you aren't getting, you're already paying for lots of things you probably don't support with your taxes.

I agree that it sucks to mandate insurance though. I'd bet it came from private insurance lobbyists though.

  • That logic is comparable to the mafia telling you, you got a choice between choice A or choice B (death). That's not a real choice. What is the person who chooses option A going to celebrate how he's "free" in that he's got a "choice"? Yeah the person is not a slave because he "choose" option A.

  • It's jail time and/or fines for evading taxes, yes, but not specifically for health care. I'd go to jail for not paying taxes even now. "These [penalties] are not sections of the House bill itself. Rather, they are sections of the current Internal Revenue Code, laying out the consequences of willful tax nonpayment."

So the mafia metaphor doesn't really apply here. It's still just a 2.5% tax. Jail time would only be for will evasion and the gov't would have to prove you could have paid.

  • I don't think you get it. The government has no Constitutional right to force anyone into purchasing anything. And penalizing someone or taxing as you call it is a measure of force. The sales tax is a tax. This is nothing but a penalty.

Go google this article and read it. Perhaps you'll learn something:

Healthcare Bill: Pay for a Plan or Go to Jail

  • If the government has no Constitutional right to force anyone into purchasing anything, then can you tell me why I might go to jail or get fined if I haven't purchased car insurance? I don't know if your point has a leg to stand on.

Regardless, I think we've reached the point where I'm going to believe what I want and think you're wrong and you're going to believe what you want and think I'm wrong. But we shouldn't fight because our leaders aren't listening to either of us anyway.

  • You can not compare healthcare to car insurance. If you don't buy a car/own a car you don't need to purchase car insurance, just use public transportation or bum a ride off your friends. In healthcare there is absolutely nothing you can do to get around not buying health insurance if the government issues penalties. Plus that is withe the idea that if you can afford to buy a buy a car you can afford to buy the insurance. Not so with health insurance.

  • That is partially true, seeing as how I view it as the majority party is not listening to me. However my Senator Richard Burr is listening to me and is doing a nice job in telling those fascists "No!".

  • I know insurance is apples and oranges, but the argument still stands that the government can punish me for not purchasing something.

And I think it's coincidental that your senator is telling them no. It's not because of you. His top campaign contributions are from health professionals. That is, if you believe these people do what the money tells them to. And a lot of us do.

  • My Senator is one of the highest ranked Conservative in the Senate. Contributions from health professionals has little to no impact on this. If it did then all Democrats who recieved contributions from them as well, would also have high marks for Conservatism. And as we know from the vote talley on the health care bill this is not the case. Also please let me know what are your opinions on how the whole healthcare industry was pretty much in the tank for Obama's bill?

  • Yeah, that was a cheap shot against your senator and they do fund the Democrats as well. But I'm not sure what you mean about the whole healthcare industry being in the tank for the bill. Maybe now with the mandate (which I don't like) but not before when there might have been a public option (which sounds good but I'm not sure how we could actually afford it).

The bill isn't written yet as far as I know. How do you think the industry would feel about repealing their antitrust exemptions?

  • I thought it was well known that the healthcare industry was in fact in the tank for any healthcare bill Obama was pushing. All kinds of health insurance companies, health organizations and doctors groups were coming out and giving their approval of the healthcare bills and were firmly behind and supported the democrats who were writing the bills. AARP comes to mind here. And for the anitrust exemptions, who's to say they didn't make a deal for some kind of loop hole?

  • I know the pharmaceuticals were for Obama since he conceded so much of our money to them. But I don't remember any insurance being for any type of reform and it doesn't sound right since reform goes against their interests. But I could be wrong. And I don't doubt for a minute that any laws repealing their antitrust exemptions would have a loophole or, at worst, would be written by lobbyists.

But I don't recall any insurance supporting any type of reform.

  • @srp3 You have a choice...it's called leaving my country! You don't belong in my realm if you decide that being good to the citizens in which you live is proper. You want freedom, go find it in another country.

  • Sorry if I came off as sarcastic there.

Anyway, I see on factcheck that there is a 2% to 2.5% increase in taxes but nothing about excessive fines or jail time.

  • Check both the Senate and House Bills. It's in there cause I've seen exerts from the bills' talking specifically about jail time and excessive fines ranging in the thousands of dollars.

  • @srp3 You have a lot of misguided passion...better use that for a different purpose because your political knowledge is just empty. Those without healthcare are leeches draining my pocket, one who actually has health insurance. Those without insurance are still being paid for by those with insurance...Stop leeching off the system cockroaches!!! Also true competition will only be forged after the passing of a public option! Coming soon to a country near YOU!!!!!

  • @necares The public option wouldn't create free market competition. Anyone who has taken 10th grade economics knows that. You're a flaming idiot man.

  • I am not desperate and I do have options.

  • And don't get me wrong. If he really has a better plan that would work (not that the Dems' one is any good), I'd love to see him and his party try to play offense a little harder and move it down the field rather than just playing defense all year long because that isn't getting us any closer to a goal.

  • I am uninsured and I would consider myself a government slave if the current healthcare bill passed. Obama and every scumsucking liberal can shove this bill up theirs.

  • Great speech Rep. Ryan. All you need is a horse, a sword, and some facepaint.

  • ...this guy ROCKS!!!!

  • lib dems are a horror joke

  • 94% of Congress admits to not have read this bill. So they are essentially voting on something they know nothing about. Who is honestly going to read a 2000+ page bill and be able to make a decent decision in such a short time???

  • great video and i agree with everything you said...and so many others do as well. Small government is what made America what it is today....why would anyone want to change that. If you havent already please consider running for president. We need these Reagan type conservative principles so badly right now, and too many republicans just dont understand that.

  • Thank you Paul for your passion!

  • @cat00012000

yeah d-bag. he HAS A LIFE.

he's a congressman. and he gives a damn.

    he's also a financial expert.

i can tell you didnt listen to what he's saying due to your stupid comments

  • What a honor to be insulted by someone such as yourself! I'm sure there are many that follow your words. I hope you continue to spread your message. People want to hear from you in the worst way. You are in the best traditions of conservatism. Some people just like you.

  • Cat00012000 - I'd like you to cite anything that Paul Ryan made up. Please, at least one - provide proof.

  • Comment removed

  • Paul Ryan reminds me of John F. Kennedy, the way he speaks.

  • This man is right, we need more time for this to be passed. We need to be educated on this subject, do you all really know what is going on with this healthcare bill? This man has a lot of the ideals that Thomas Jefferson had, which is very substantial. He apparently is looking out for the country, more time for the bill. The 12,000 or so who need it will have to wait, the future millions are more important.

  • Anyone complaining about this being the fault of the insurance companies has bought the big lie. This is not the fault of insurance companies. It is the fault of bureaucrats and prior legislation. This problem goes back to 1965 and the introduction of the illegal Medicaid & Medicare programs.

And it also goes to collusion. You have to understand the history. READ please:

  • its funny, i had two comments here and they were deleted. no stupid language, no insults, just an opinion. i am very surprised to notice that this channel (which i was a big fan of) is removing my comments.

  • It's not the channel, it is the Youtube engine. It has algorithms that are overly aggressive and automatically prevent comments from being posted.

You can see this by when you try to post a comment and the button you just hit goes gray and continues to say "Post Comment" or something like that instead of "Comment Posted!"

I've had this happen to me in lots of channels. You have to copy your post BEFORE you post it so you can edit and try again. It's the Youtube system, not the channel.

  • 44,789 Americans die every year because they have no health insurance. If Al Queda had such a success rate there'd be uproar, but because it's profit-making insurance companies are doing it then it's all okay in the interests of market fundamentalist ideology. You people are sick!

  • @eamonnca1 OK. You really want to look at what you just said? 44k people die because they don't have health insurance? That makes as much sense as saying 10k ppl died because they didn't buy a Wii.

People die from not seeking medical care. There are laws that require they be seen whether they can pay or not. There is already free health care for the poor (Medicaid) and 100,000 (double that fake number PNHP is spouting) die from preventable infections they got in a hospital.

  • Er, buying a Wii doesn't prevent you from getting treatment. I can't believe you're denying that people are being denied health coverage because of pre-existing conditions or simply because they get sick. What makes you think it isn't going to be you next?

  • I've never had insurance. I think health insurance is the biggest part of the problem with rising costs, and I've had no trouble getting health treatment for my family for everything from an emergency appendectomy to a child in ICU to general tests and procedures and the birth of seven children.

Insurance isn't the issue. It's patients being empowered to make their own health care choices.

  • dude its totally cool to be against stuff but I want to see what you guys are for. The GOP is a nihilistic party right now they are against everythig the dems are for. thats ok but what is the GOP for other than tax cuts I dont see anything they are for. Its a party of no ideas and the DNC is a party of bad ideas.

  • i wonder if this asswipe voted for bush's bullshit wars and the costs of young american lives and the trillions, yeah, our trillions, going to the military industrial corporate complex?

call me crazy, but i'd rather have my government working for my interests than the corporations working for my interests...or the government working for the corporate interests!

  • You think like a republican.

  • Thanks Rep Ryan. We are behind you, those that do not stand up for liberty and freedom will find themselves without a job soon. More and more people are starting to understand what is happening. These are tough times for our Nation but we will prevail!

  • sigh, why are the same rural states so afraid of this? in what way is this the end of america? just because the government is providing health care to those who choose the option. you all know that when someone can't pay their medical bills that the tax payers pay them instead right? so why is it so bad that these people are given an actual health care option? if they can't afford private care, it comes from tax dollars. the change will be unnoticeable.

  • i wont be surprised if anywhere in this bill it gives powers to the UN to practice powers in any way...this bill is the end of america, a lot of crap will come down the road now!!!

  • HAHAHA! The UN is going to take over? That's the best one I've heard yet! You're probably one of these 'death panel' conspiracy theorists. Why don't you load up your guns and take to the hills in your pickup truck with your sister/wife?

  • it passed...america is screwed!!!

  • Abolish the police! Abolish the fire department! Abolish the armed forces! We don't need no stinking socialized services funded by taxpayers! Our veterans fought and died for the ideals of the Republican party! This is a big bill, therefore it's bad! Grrrr!

  • Are those businesses? No. Those are social necessities, not socialism. I love how you idiotic leftists can't tell the difference and then say "well, if you don't like socialism, don't call the police". Morons

Not only that, you then you demonize the police and military in the very next breath calling them killers. Nice work playing both sides.

  • Er, health care is a social necessity, not a business.

  • Are you really that ignorant? We are talking about health INSURANCE. Not health care.

Good job trying to reframe the argument though. Morons like you will be the fall of western civilization. Useful idiots, the whole lot of you.

  • Hehe. This is too easy. You can't have health care without either health insurance or direct funding from the taxpayer. So in the case of the USA it IS the same thing.

    Try again.

  • That the most ridiculous thing ever said in the history of morons. And you're up against Joe Biden.

I don't have health insurance and I still get health care that I PAY FOR WITH MY MONEY. The poor aren't denied treatment. Nobody is. That's a fallacy. And since we're already paying for their health care, as you state, then why are you wanting to spend trillion to pay for the care they already get? You don't make sense.

Not as easy as you thought, is it jackass?

  • You will want it went you suffer a disaster (unless you are rich, of course.)

The poor are denied the cheaper preventative treatment. They get the expensive emergency treatment that comes too late and they more often die anyways (a win for the gdp, a win for business as they profit anyway, and a loss for the insurance beneficiary and taxpayer who will pay anyway.)

  • Now you're going off saying the whole of society should pay for every rectal exam and enema that any person may require throughout their lifetime.

What you're saying makes no sense and what you suggest is kind of scary.

Look, people aren't just dropping dead in the streets from lack of insurance. That's bull. This bill is a power grab and nothing more.

You should go read the book "1984". Alot of what is in these bill (health insurance bill and cap-n-tax) strangely parallels that book.

  • We all pay anyways. And, why do you focus on just the treatments of the ass?

People drop dead of preventable diseases in emergency rooms where you don't see them.

Representative democracy is preventative medicine against the world of "1984."

  • Nobody is denied treatment?! HAHAHA! Is this what we've descended into? Blatant lies? Is that all that you people have left?

  • Nice quote cropping...try again idiot.

Not one person is ever denied treatment in this country that will save their life. None. Not one. Not ever. Not even illegal immigrants or child molesters.

I thank you for showing your ignorance.

  • Please remind us why the fire department, police and military are "social necessities."

  • If I need to explain to you why the military, police and fire department are vital to society's survival then you would be too ignorant to grasp my explanation anyway, but here goes. try to keep up.

Military=national defense from those who would bomb your ports in Hawaii or burn your people for not having the right hair color.

Police=civil defense to protect you from people who would crazies who would slice your throat or spread poisons around to school children.

    continued...

  • Fire department=defense from wild fires and cows with aversions to lanterns that could burn an entire city like say....Chicago. Or you know....those pesky fires in California and Florida that destroy tens of thousands of homes every year and could end up being hundreds of thousands without them.

That's about as remedial as I can make that explanation...hope it helps you.

  • Right. So the police and fire department are social necessities but health care isn't? Health care is just another commercial activity like selling iPods? Riiiiiight.

  • Again you go back to the health "care" label instead of what it is.....health "insurance".

Stop with the idiotic rebranding. Only liberals and morons are stupid enough to fall for that tactic.

  • Nice try, fuck face. If you're denied health insurance you're denied health care and you know it, you lying sack of Fox News-watching half educated turd.

  • You're a dumbass. I don't have health insurance and I get treatment. No insurance does not equal no treatment. Moron.

So that makes you a liar, doesn't it.

But yeah....nice try just like you said.

  • I don't want want to have to be FORCED to pay for your police and fire protection. You should pay for private fire and civil protection. And, the wildfires happened on socialist public lands that need to be privatized.

I also don't want to pay for an excessive military force which is only excessive because of evil shit our foreign policy people do (like overthrowing democracies in favor of dictatorships). Let the interests who benefit from those kind of policies fund their own PRIVATE armies.

  • We do have private police protection and volunteer fire departments....so you still have no argument.

And wildfires happen on "socialist" public lands? Never on private land? never started by a human?

I can't think of one true democracy that was ever overthrown unless it was for muslim appeasement or a democrat was in power.....oh what a coincidence they both happened at the same time. Irony is a funny thing.

    More useful idiots.

  • A private and a public option? That sound's nice.

I won't have to pay for fires on private land.

LOL, true democracy. There are no true scotsmens as their are no true democracies.

Read some more history. Chile and Pinochet? Nicaragua? And have you ever heard of the United Fruit Company? Get you read on.

  • You mean the same Pinochet who over threw the "democratically" elected Allende. Allende being the guy who won in a landslide example of democracy with 36% of the vote, the very same Allende who radically altered the Chilean constitution. is that the Pinochet you mentioned?

Yes he was an ass too, but so was the guy he kicked out.

    continued..

  • Ah yes...Nicaragua. Good ol' innocent cocaine peddling Nicaragua. How could we be so harsh on a government that only allowed 17% of the population to vote in the mid 1900's?

    Nice examples of "true democracies".

  • Hello? "[There are no true democracies]?"

  • Then by your purist definitions there was never any communism, socialism, capitalism, marxism, facism....no republics or dictatorships, no tyranny and no liberty. In fact, you aren't really here and Lincoln didn't really free the slaves.

    Stop splitting hairs.

  • Those are not ideal countries, but the U.S. shouldn't be meddling in there affairs unless they are welcomed by their peoples or America is ***TRULY*** threatened, IMO. I get the mid-east is about global political strategy, though.

I like some of the conservative ideas, but as far as health reform, I have to side with the liberals (Sorry, I've been screwed over one too many times by a couple of health insurance companies. Fuck 'em).

  • So we should wait until the Huns are at the wall before we intervene? You know I've read about that strategy before and it didn't work out too well.

And as for being denied treatment by insurance companies, you should be arguing that. Not trying to restructure the world leading health care industry just because some people get denied by an insurance company.

    continued...

  • You realize that the US is where all these socialist health care nations get their drugs and equipment, because their research and development dropped by 50% on average? They are moving at a snails pace because of this and their statistics on how "good" their healthcare is solely dependent on the U.S. remaining as it is now. if the U.S. becomes like them who will they turn to? China?

    continued...

  • I'm sure we'll all sleep well with the knowledge that the world is now dependent on China for all it's medical production.

And to think, it will all be thanks to our selfish short-sightedness about a non-issue.

We should be proud of our masochism.

  • Keep fighting the good fight Rep. Ryan

  • VERY WELL SAID, Rep. Ryan, well said indeed. I want to Thank You for your honesty & all your hard work & efforts. You, Sir, are a True Patriot & A Great American!

  • Thank You Representative Ryan for your service to God and Country. Your a good man. Kentucky is behind you as well.

  • I am also paying attention. I tuned into C-Span to watch. Thanks for this update. Keep up the good fight

  • Where were you when they passed the the patriot act? It's sad that you feel that only republicans can be true Americans. Instead of trying to divide the country you should start working with the evil democrats to craft a bill that both sides can support.

  • We have tried, Republicans wanted a bill to provide support for the 40 million uninsured instead of throwing the other 280 million on the government dole.

  • Moron, have you been under a rock? The democrats shot down every single meaningful idea, bill, amendment and suggestion the republicans put forth.

Now you want to act like they weren't trying to be a part of it?

  • i like this guy

  • vote no.

  • Thanks Rep. Ryan from one of your constituents in the 1st district! Please keep up the good fight - we're behind you!

  • Keep up the good work, Rep Ryan!

  • Waiting to see if Dem Reps Lipinski and Halvorson vote yes on this mess....Will work for their opponents in 2010 if they do.

  • God Bless You. We are behind you and I can tell you we will actively work to deseat those in support of the bill,if it passes!

  • Thank you. Just thank you. The Constitution MEANS SOMETHING.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • I'm Paying attention. Thank you for your service.

  • Inspiring as always, just wish he was Maine's Rep. Which is why I am holding out hope for him to put together a campaign for pres. One of the very few people on the hill that i believe.

  • Thank you Rep Ryan for representing the People responsibly.

Ive been watching CSPAN all day. I HAVE been paying attention. I will be watching to see how Mr. Kind and Mr. Kagan vote. I will be donating directly to those running against these two representatives when their terms are up.

  • A great, principled patriot. I love that he's ideologically motivated.

  • Thank you Rep Ryan for trying to shine the light on what the Dems are doing over cover of night and the weekend.

Spread this video around people! Keep the pressure on those who our still on the fence about the health care bill!

  • I love the fact that Ryan's a politican in D.C. all week however he doesnt act like your typical/fake-vibe politican. This guy is not giving these socialist/democrats 1 inch of room. I personally love it that he hasn't let up at all.

KEEP FIGHTING RYAN! WE'RE BEHIND YOU!!

  • Thank You Rep Ryan

  • Thank you sir for your fight. It is not your fault that some americans voted in congressmen who are not in touch with what the American people want.

  • Irony?

  • Congressman Ryan - thank you for your bravery.

I fear we are losing our freedom.

I truly do not understand how the house can even think they have the right to pass this bill. The only consitutional way is through admending the consitution.

Few in congress believe in the consitution these days.

I think God for Congressman Ryan.
