Just image how much (like 5-6 times) more effective as President if Obama's to become vice-president first!
Just image it; he'll be influencing the policies for 16 years.
You don't want him as president just yet. Hillary could not be selected as vice-president. BUT IMAGINE THE COUNTRY WE'LL HAVE IF HE'S IN THE OVAL OFFICE FOR 16 YEARS OBAMA FANS. Be careful of your choice since Nadars back in the race to divide. Hillary for President08
The sad thing is that Bush and his Republican cronies have a pre 9-11 view of the world. Instead of taking the reality of terrorism seriously, they remained obsessed with Rogue States like Iraq. They seized on 9-11 to promote a wild-eyed policy that no one would have supported if it had been honestly presented---that we would spread democracy by military means. It was preposterous as a policy, even more so due to remarkably poor execution of the war. Don't walk us into war with our paths down.
Obama certainly is not lying. The legacy of Republican leadership is one of unpreparedness in Iraq. Their approach is utter folly: sending numbers inadequate troops, supplying them poorly, having no plan for occupation, failing to secure borders, failing control conventional weapons and offering woefully inadequate diplomatic leadership to help form a governing consensus in Iraq. It is a dismal failure and reason to say: fear the GOP of military and security matters.
YOU don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about.YOU LIke OBAMA never served in the military or know any soldiers. You guys just take from the US. Obama like his wife hate this country. They are good for taking scholarships. He should say the pledge and salute the flag. BUT HE WON'T This guy is clueless on military and security issues. Good talker but talk is cheap. Having lived through two terrorist attacks I hope Barack Hussein Obama never becomes President. He is not prepared.
The Republicans have done an incredible number on our military--our national strength and our capacity to defend ourselves. It will take a long time to recover from the debacle of their ignorant leadership. No one can really defend it.
We believe Obama will succeed in part because the Republicans have shown themselves to be unfit to lead the military of the United States in this dangerous time. They have misused our military strength and weakened our country. Great wisdom is needed now. Obama is smart, wise and sane. What a great change.
One must have good judgement to be Commander in Chief. Among other things, this would preclude opening a two front war when you haven't created conditions for success in the first front. That is what happened in Afghanistan and Iraq. The horrible results were foreseen by many including Barack Obama. Not seeing it--in our view--disqualifies anyone from serving as Commander in Chief.
Because Obama (after Hillary spoke) said that he would protect America, that he would go after bad guys and have an Army with equipment- that makes him qualified? He did not have access to the same information about Iraq to even compare his rationale about the conflict with Hillary's. He was only a state Senator and she got much more data from our federal government before she voted.
Obama is best prepared to be Commander in Chief because he would not have sent us to war in Iraq when we had a big challenge of defeating our enemies in Afghanistan. Hillary Clinton and John McCain were wrong and enabled a policy that has left us weaker and more vulnerable than at any time in our history.

Hilary was first lady when Bin Laden developed his 9-11 plans. Bush was president
when Bin Laden attacked. Neither administration protected America. Who are they to be saying Obama isn't ready? Both
administrations weren't ready when they had their chance!

Obama has gotta win, but the filthy republicans will probably rape him of the election like Bush did the past 2 elections.
Bush senior endorsed Mccain, that's not a good sign.
