How can show differences in climate in the map. I would like to have a frozen tundra on the north end of my map and a jungle on the southern end of the map.

But what if you have a map where there is inland expanding 2 edges of the map and coasline on the other 2 edges? When you add the inner glow sheet effect to get the "beach look", it makes the non-coastline edges "glow" too where there are no beaches. How can you make only the coastline sections glow?

One problem I'm having with glow effects is that if I draw a contour that goes off the edge of the map, it fades out at the map border as if the contour ended exactly there in a straight line rather than just continuing as if the map border cut off a larger contour.

The same thing happens with my "beach" inner glow on land masses. Any idea how to rectify this?

I got an Island which is not rounded by Beachs... So what to do... not so cool in that way...

I'm still prefering Photoshoop... gives a lot of work but a lot of Freedom too...

I had to look this one up too. Use Edge fade and set the Invert Colors to one.

You can add the effects of Blur ->10 and transparecy -> 80 to the Contours (Land) Sheet to substitute the effect of edge fade inner. try it ;)

I had a question. What if you don't have the "Edge Fade - Inner" as an option. For some reason I don't have it on my CC3. How would you create the fade effect for the orange/brown blobs?

In fact I don't seem to have half of the effects you can add. :(
