  • No...no, no...oh God, the Medusa heads...get away...GET AWAY! NOOOOOO!!! *GAME OVER*

  • this music, it's good

  • I love this

  • at 00:30, i always subconsciously hear the "ahh" that Nathan yells mainly because he has a habit of getting hit by something during that segment of the music. Yeah...

  • I must the only person in the whole Castlevania fandom to prefer this rendition of the Clocktower theme as opposed to the original from Castlevania 3. Why? This song is hands down one of my fav from the whole game.

  • @SilentStalkerX i agree with you; it just goes so well with the monsters, especially those heat sprites

  • @SilentStalkerX I too prefer it over the original version, 'foo. This one is more fun and Pop-ish.

  • @SuperAdventures On which Castlevania the original version appears? I want to listen to it!

  • @FireZtarDS Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse for the NES.

  • 4 medusa heads dislike this song

  • after 10 painful years i finally completed the game as a skeleton

  • I nostalgia hard whenever I hear CotM songs. I was 13 and I had just acquired my GBA on launch day. For some reason, I decided that I wanted to try out the Castlevania series because I heard it had good reviews. I do not regret buying Circle of the Moon in the slightest.

On the other hand, **** the medusa heads!

  • The bass is just... magic

  • WRONG KEY DX

  • crap! i think the bass cover of this was so hard to do!

  • 0:28 beautiful !

  • This is honestly the best game I've ever had the pleasure of playing on a portable. I mean that.

  • @StormZephyr This and Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance ranks up there with me.

  • Oh geez, it's all coming back to me. Unforgiving gear-platforms, and a SHITLOAD of Medusa heads that I couldn't hit to save my life.

  • @oddmanelf Jupiter + Serpent :D

  • man i love the part at 0:26 it has such a nice melody to it, that it was stuck in my head through out school lmao XD

  • Wow...

this version is so LAME compared to the original Castlevania III's Clockwork Vampire.

The original Clockwork Vampire sounds 1000 times better than this and isn't so hip-hop...

    this sucks compared.

  • You ever think, that maybe you're the one that is "LAME" and "sucks"?

The day a Castlevania song "sucks" is the day Dracula sleeps forever.

  • @simdaddy:

    lol w/e dude... don't be a dick.

    i'm entitled to my opinion.

though i have to agree w/ you...

    no castlevania song really sucks.

what i said was, this song sucks "compared" to the original clockwork.

    that should be obvious.

  • @Snowboarding85 Totally. CV3's clockwork is wayyyyyyyyyy better.

  • @brokenseatbelt haha damn madusa heads were a bitch after you got grant

  • @brokenseatbelt Agreed, though this is a cool tune too. Also, CV3 may have had the best NES music of all time. Either that or Mega Man 2, both are ridiculously good.

  • @simdaddy forever can't happen in a day

  • This is the best version of Clockwork, by far

  • Is it an irony that I despise the CVIII version, the Judgement mix, but this song when I played CotM was the very first song I took notice of the game(before I started remembering song names) and remains one of my fav music from the game. Awesome beat, awesome rhythm which culminates into my fav part at 0:56 - 1:04

  • I remember this song as they shouted the Heat Shade

    Aaaahhh

    Jump Nathan:

    wooo, woah..

    XD

  • I don't get it. What do you mean?

  • I mean, when did nathan jumping very peculiar cries as:

    Woo, Huuu, woah ...

Now you understand? and when the Heat Shade slew also cried ...

  • Love all of these, I'm playing the game on the computer :)

  • did ANYBODY (other than me) notice that this is a remix from Castlevania III's clocktower? :30 made me notice

  • Yeah, you can tell in the beginning. It also shows at 0:30 as you said.

  • even the beginning of this theme is the same as Castlevania III's Clockwork, but in other scale~

  • the song being named "Clockwork" didn't gave you any clue? that's the name of the CVIII's song

  • It has the same title so it probably figures.

  • Most of the Songs in Circle of the Moon are Remixes.

  • Get Obata the helllllll away from my Castlevania.

  • golem in this level was easy lol

  • Man this track is badass.. I remember every now and then I'd go play this annoying level again just to hear the song. Hated the medusa head and fox archers!

  • part 2

    11. Chartlotte Aulin

    12. Loretta LeCarde

    13. Stella LeCarde

    14. Death

    15. Dracula

    16. Christopher Belmont

    17. Soliyeu Belmont

  • Great thinking, but where's Simon, Trevor, Maria, and Soma?

  • I guess they could be in it..

  • where the hell is alucard???? hes draculas son dumbass.....and hector from curse of darkness he should be in it..hes underrated

  • Let me throw in a wildcard: Saint Germaine from Curse of Darkness. Had an awesome accent, an awesome top hat, a gun, and time control abilities.

  • Seconded.

  • Bro, where's Grant and Aeon? I also suggest Chaos as the final boss.

  • Well I wanted to put in Characters who weren't in Judgement seeing as Trevor, Maria, Alucard, Grant, and Sypha. I guess Saint Germaine could take the place of Aeon (I didn't like Aeon -.-)

  • Aeon is awsome

  • Jesus Christ, you guys have your mind on ANOTHER judgement game?

  • My Current Character Roster for the Next Judgement. 1. Reinhardt Schneider 2. Carrie Fernandez 3. Juste Belmont 4. Richter Belmont 5. John Morris 6. Nathan Graves 7. Julius Belmont 8. Shanoa 9. Albus 10. Jonathan Morris
  • please...no i dont want to see my fav characters Nathan and Reinhardt in that shit of game

  • but without a faggot like Obata making desings

  • you should hear the guitar version

  • the two themes are good :)

  • Aria of Sorrow's clock tower theme just beats this out.

  • I see a pattern. It seems that in almost all of the castlevania games, the clock tower parts/levels has the best music in that game.

  • Definitely! Clockwork is an iconic theme of Baroque. Clockwork levels are the perfect match for the most righteous of tunes.

  • With the exception of HoD (which is much darker than the rest), I find that all of the clock tower themes sound very upbeat with epic sounding tunes (bloody tears) and usually with electric guitars (AoS and SotN).

  • Not to mention Eneomaos Machine Tower, from Curse of Darkness.

Gotta admit; you have a point with this pattern thing.

    Greetings,

    Rick.

  • Hmm... I wonder why Konami didn't put the Clock Tower theme in Cv IV, instead of Bloody Tears.

  • This was one of my first Castlevania games, though I do remember watching my brother play III on NES, and remember the clocktower theme.

This remix is awesome, and :58-1:00 reminnds me of something from Sonic the Hedgehog.

  • To me this is the best Clocktower theme :) Gives a pace and rythm that this section of the castle needs :)

  • You know what's funny? I knew the exact part you meant before I checked which part it was in the song. Lol.

  • Ressemble pas trop à l'original

  • amazing

  • This game was awesome over Christmas, everything about it ROCKS

    Nathan Graves owns

  • just as much as simon, wish they would make another castlevania with him in it

  • I think they should include the GBA and DS characters such as Nathan, Soma or Juste in a future Castlevania Judgment

  • Agreed. And how about a Hector or Isaac? :D

    Greetings,

    Rick.

  • I love this game so much I have it..this music is to the clock tower..I kicked butt on that part I did die sometimes but I still rocked

  • The songs from this game are SO EPIC!

  • This song has such an amazing "chorus"

  • Part of the hook in this song is from castlevania 3 on nes. This game mainly remixed alot of classic songs and did a bad ass job. Still love this game

  • My fav. COTM track

  • I love this track! Especially around 0:58, WOW! I remember going back in that area to level up just to hear that music again and again..

  • lol wats up wit there being medusa heads and den theres da full bodied medusa? lol?...maybe da medusa heads r her spirits?

  • The first boss took me four years. Top that. XD!

  • LOL!!

  • Yeah, it took me quit a while to figure out the usefulness of the holy water. Before that, I just leveled up on mummies like crazy in the room below the boss.

  • Dis song fits dat bitch wats her name? o yea Medusa....yea...

  • This was my first Castlevania and man was it hard. I had to retry certain bosses probably well over 10 times. That's how it should be. CotM was tough but never unfair, if you died it was probably your own fault. The newer Castlevanias are WAY too easy (actually you could say that about new games in general).

  • some bosses took me more than 30 tries...

  • cough adremalech cough

    cough dragons cough

  • Agreed on the boss difficulty. I mean i loved games like Aria of Sorrow but the bosses were just so easy. Thankfully the difficulty is starting to spike up on the DS games like Portrait of Ruin. (Of course that may have something to do with the fact the CotM design team also did Portrait of Ruin.)

  • Where can i get extended versions of these?

  • this tune sounds so familiar...nevertheless, i really loved this place, just did'nt capture the "clock tower's" grace as in other castlvanias...but still this was a awesome game.

  • I think its from Castlevania 3's clock tower.

  • i think it didnt catch the feel cause it didn't have any giant spining parts... just up/down platforms..

    THOUGH IT WAS PRETTY MASSIVE!!!!!!

  • Every area in carmillas castle seemed massive...but true..it didn't have ht egood ol medusa heads knocking you every which way getting you pissed off wanting you to shatter the game into pieces..ahh good ol castlevania moments...the only reason i liked this one it was a challenging..

  • Agree

the reason why it's a good game is cause it has a great sound track, good deph (DSS), it's challenging, and it's fun!

and if u didn't think the game was enough of a challenge, there was always the arena to kick ur ass!

  • Oh yeah, that freakin arena...O_O

  • Oh GOD... the Arena. I remember going through there... I got to the part with the minotaurs and threw crucifixes like crazy... I hate those guys. I still died though. -_-...

  • Circle of the Moon had a few very challenging bosses. Personally I hated the twinheaded dragon :) but damn did I have fun with this game

I still play it on my GBA SP :)

  • Twin Zombie Uber Dragon? Easy! Just throw a crucifix at such a point as it starts to slow and turn around while inside one of the Dragons! Then, jump up so you don't pick it up and it smashes into the other Dragon. That way, both lose some HP. Next, keep attacking one of the Dragons until it dies, then switch the crucifix tactic to the other Dragon.

    Rinse.

    Repeat.

  • Ok. Do it at level 22 like I did and with the ranged class..ugh, what was the name, specialist at using secondary weapons, the code was CROSSBOW. You have a low amount of health and not a high amount of max hearts.

    Good luck ;)
