Dodge really, really hit the nail on the head in every way with this car. Can this thing take the 4.4 sec 0-60mph? The numbers show not even close. A supercharged 330Ci is a beast and this SRT8 is too slow to catch to it. Hell the older E46 M3 is as fast. It is just too heavy to make up for its 6.1L and its body.

I am a Kiwi, I just did 16k miles os USA 34 states. I drove both the challanger and the charger, charger, was sad, challanger was very good, it looks so sexy, plastic inside, ouch. I own a car with near 500hp so I am not the best advice about power, I still love the dodge, Bring back the true 426.

Japanese cars may not have much soul but that's true of todays overplastic American cars. Many people bought trucks not cause they were trend followers but American cars are front wheel drive over plasticy POS. You can knock Japan for lacking soul but so does Detroit and Japanese cars run like a fine watch. It's horrible to hear the exhaust note of the 3 year old Grand Prix. Raggedy POS. Corvette or New Camaros look like they are from a mismatch of parts. Cadillacs even have cheap plastic.

with the exception of the interior, the design changes from the concept were all great improvements. it has made the difference between buying and not buying it for me.
these cars have a competely different feel then a 4.6 mustang ive been in just the 5.7 300 and then a mustang the mustang GT did not impress me then the SRT is even better the mustang may be just a quick but the car feels gut less

The car is pretty nice looking but I don't like the back lights and bumper. Makes it look like an 80's Firebird. They should have stuck with the back lights and bumper on the concept car, it looked much cleaner and more like a muscle car. Still though it's a very nice car and sure beats all the belly button vehicles on the roads these days.

I see a lot of comments on challengers about their times and numbers but I gotta tell ya.... I don't care what time My Challenger pulls, I want it regardless. It's a Hemi (even the 5.7 is bad-ass) and it's super fun to drive (if it's anything like the charger) I am too old to care about beating the kid next to me in a Honda but too young to not do burnouts all over Manhattan :) YAY DODGE!
Its definitely the sweetest of the modern retro comeback muscle cars (the new camaro looks dumb, but the mustang looks pretty good right now) However, I'd rather drive an original any day. New cars always have a clunky plastic look to them no matter how they are styled. And what good is a 6.1 litre engine if you can't even hear it rumbling at the stop light?
I dont know the srt8 charger can does low to mid 13 1/4 probley the same. and the 5.7 liter version will probley be around mid to high 14's dont see it doin 15's

don't be so sure, because it has independent rear suspension there is more mechcanical drag meaning less power. take the g8 gt as an example same suspension same engine and only like 360 hp. its still pretty quick but its just its almost 50 hp per litter. the camaro might have only 360hp or more. around a track it will be faster. but you never know the Camaro might beat this.
It's funny how the muscle cars are making there return when gas is going to exceed $4.oo a gallon. I'm glad I did not get the Dodge Charger Daytona series because I would have wound up selling it.

I see a lot of comments on challengers about their times and numbers but I gotta tell ya.... I don't care what time My Challenger pulls, I want it regardless. It's a Hemi (even the 5.7 is bad-ass) and it's super fun to drive (if it's anything like the charger) I am too old to care about beating the kid next to me in a Honda but too young to not do burnouts all over Manhattan :) YAY DODGE!

Its definitely the sweetest of the modern retro comeback muscle cars (the new camaro looks dumb, but the mustang looks pretty good right now) However, I'd rather drive an original any day. New cars always have a clunky plastic look to them no matter how they are styled. And what good is a 6.1 litre engine if you can't even hear it rumbling at the stop light?

Mazda 6 > Ford Fusion
Mazda 3 > Ford Focus

I test-drove a kia rio, and it had the shittiest engine i have ever driven. and it kept making an annoying little rattle along the way. it was so cheeply made, that i felt like if i crashed into a pole at 10 mph, i would break about 10 bones lol

That annoying little rattle was the engine, and the reason they are made cheap is so people who don't have allot of money can still drive a new car. One that doesn't cost much to run. Jump into a top of the line car like a Merc or a BMW there are no squeaks or rattles. If you are in a car that is squeaking like mad..... Turn up the radio

don't be so sure, because it has independent rear suspension there is more mechcanical drag meaning less power. take the g8 gt as an example same suspension same engine and only like 360 hp. its still pretty quick but its just its almost 50 hp per litter. the camaro might have only 360hp or more. around a track it will be faster. but you never know the Camaro might beat this.
