I'm not sure why some are so politically correct that they have no trace of patriotism (or common sense) left in them. The point that they can't grasp that the location of this mosque is inappropriate and insensitive is simply baffling.

@EspSher Religious liberty - a right on which the United States was founded and for which it is, at least for now, rightly renowned - is not "political correctness". Nor is it "politically correct" to recognize the many Muslim New Yorkers who died on 9/11. As others have said, there are other religious - and other secular, and even inherently offensive - buildings and businesses in lower Manhattan. To respect the rights of all is the only true patriotism. To deny them is fundamentalist bigotry.

I'm against all organized religions (not that I think they should be banned). The proposed Islamic community center (which possibly doubles as a mosque) is about 4 blocks away from ground zero of the WTC. Right next to ground zero there are liquor stores & strip clubs & I wouldn't doubt porno stores. I'm sure there are already mosques in Manhattan, probably not even very far away from ground zero. Let's hope there are protests when a church is proposed to be built in San Francisco.

Our first video was going viral and had almost 500,000 views in just over a week, but YouTube pulled it when a big photo company claimed copyright infringement because we UNINTENTIONALLY used their photo(s) which didn't SHOW to be copyrighted, or we wouldn't have. We corrected the problem so this video is fine - different photos - SAME MESSAGE! Please help us keep our message alive that the mosque DOES NOT need to be built near Ground Zero. @bigbeartr57 How was the attack on the USS Cole a failure of Clinton? I wouldn't even say 9/11 was a failure of g.w. bush, since, if anything, it was more the responsibility of those who had more control & intelligence.

@Boxcutter7 President Clinton put into place a very strict ROE policy of not firing unless fired upon, no matter what. Though there were armed sailors on the deck of the Cole, they were not allowed to defend the ship according to the ROE since the bombers had not attacked the ship until the explosion took place and it was too late. Afterward, there were a lot of ROE and security changes to prevent such an attack from happening again.
