If a company wants to cut benefits that is their prerogative. This does not make them thieves. There is nothing or no one MAKING their drivers stay with them, it's called free will. If the drivers choose to stay employed by the company without the same level of benefits than that is on the driver not the company...

And as to your comment about Werner's profits... It's called business.. That is the point. Obviously you have never owned a business. They are a business NOT WELFARE...

Had a severe accident in a Semi, and woke up to another truck driver who pulled over on side of the road and was calling 911... he came over to make sure I was ok, and stayed till police arrived... Not all drivers are dicks! But to many people both older and younger are coming or seasoned into the field and do not care about each other. It is get out of my way, I got to go! Try smiling and saying hello to someone.. oldest thing in the book but it may help out someone on their trip...

Obviously the driver lost control on a slick road. What with the speed the driver who took the pic was doing, wouldn't surprise me if he'd ended up there also. Reminds me of Interstate 80 in the winter time. I called it "The jacknife graveyard" especialy the morning after a snow storm when all those supertruckers couldn't swollow there pride and bring it in for the night. When theres ice on the road there is no way a delivery deadline is gunna keep me on the road.

you know it is a perfect example of how trucking has changed. used to have been truckers would have pulled over to help him and make sure he was ok. now you take video and laugh at them. @keystrucker yea im sure... two weeks ago I-80/I-94 interchange. theres a swift truck, CRST truck, and a schnieder truck all cruising side by side 63 mph. another smaller company driver in the far left lane got mad and sped ahead. realized he missed his exit and swerved to make it cutting all three larger companies off. what did they do after he flipped? got on the CB laughing their asses off. I'm an owner op of three years. what did i do? i stopped. id expect nothing less from other drivers.
