i think that you were to slow in the beginning but you got more comfortable as the song went on; and i think that you put a lot of emotion into the song. you weren't just singing. that made it an amazing performance
i think u did great you made your playing follow your voice instead of your voice following your playing and a lotta people dont get that about playing guitar
i guess what ur saying works when ur just playing by urself but if u've got a band then u have to make ur voice fit the guitar cause it has to be in time with everyone else. and as far as solo acoustic stuff, i think u should still make ur voice fit the guitar, but thats my opinion.
if you're planning on playing solo all the time with just you and your guitar, then sure guitar follow voice, playing with someone/thing else, wont work as well. personally, i think the voice should fit the guitar, not the other way around
