Hey! I have an iPhone that had water damage and it was left to dry for a while.. longer than 3 weeks and now everything works perfectly fine on the phone, except the screen doesn't brighten up.. You can see the screen but only when its under a lamp or outside when the suns out.. Does it just need an lcd replacement.. or ? :/

@staybeautiful5515 Many times water damages will damage multiple parts on the phone and by the time you replace all the parts to make it work again you have spent more money than just getting a new phone.

Hey there... Thought you may be able to help me. I have an iPhone 3GS and I got it off a friend who said if I can fix it I can keep it.

As far as I can tell the touch screen doesn't work and is in quite a mess... I haven't had an iPhone before and the nearest apple shop is an hour away...

If you could give me an idea of what might be the problem I would appreciate it...

hey, just replaced the complete screen, when i try to turn it on the screen just comes up white. i somehow managed to start playing music on it though... any ideas?

@lazyboy1395 It sounds like the touch panel and lcd are bad. You can replace the complete screen which includes both those parts. It is part number IP-2322 at DirectFix com
