i saw night ranger: in 1989 at the air force academy arnold hall- met brad gillis in the bathroom. i don't think he apprieciated it. i saw them at the colo state fair, in 1987. saw em again at the air force academy falcon stadium, prob. about 2008... outside of the stadium, alongside a chili-fest and a car-show, all at the same time. they sounded great that day.

I am mostly a product of the 90's during the grunge era (during my teenage years when most people acquire their taste in music). But even back then I listened mostly to 80's stuff. They don't make songs like this anymore. Give me Night Ranger, Loverboy, Motley Crue, Poison, Ratt, solo Ozzy any day over the shit that passes off as music today (I sound like my parents saying the same thing when i was growing up. LOL).

Although NR tasted success, its unfortunate that they never quite broke beyond the threshold of superstardom. Musically and stylistically I would compare them to several other bands that were "BIG" during NR's time. Nevertheless, I really appreciate them more today than I did yesteryear.

The dad goes to night school trying to get his life together while trying to figure out if its time to move on to a new lady or get back with his ex-wife. It prob would have aired from like 84-88. I was only a kid in the 70's so the 80's was the beginning of my adult life, high school and college. It was the best time of my life! All in all in the 80s live some of the guitar heroes who resurrected a lot of classical melodies in an electric guitar. Melodies that were composed hundreds of years ago by the greatest composers/musicians that ever walked the earth. The likes of JS BACH MOzart etc.
