  • wow, what a sign of the times...."our husbands only sent for us 2 times" umm.....really??...dont they see what they're doing??

  • Does anyone know if they recorded this song and if so on what album (album is old school for you new jacks they are big old vinyl CD's like you at your Uncle Joe's house) Notice did not ask about an 8 track. LOL!

Love The Barrett Sisters. Great post.

  • @praizequeen yes they did it's on the LP what a wonderful world

  • @MrKITCHENTALK I have this on CD , I forgot they were still making LPs in 1990, the song Keep On Singing is their 2nd version which sounds more contemporary, those that prefer the old time gospel would rather hear the original 1982 recording.

  • @praizequeen It was recorded on the What Will You Do With Your Life album in 1982 on the Savoy label. I wish I had a working turntable so I can play it but some of the songs are uploaded here such as God Shall Wipe All Tears Away, Tis So Sweet, You Pray For Me and the tile song. It's a really great album, I went looking for all their recordings after hearing them in Say Amen Somebody.

  • @malevocalist Thanks for the info....I wish you lived in the Atlanta area and I could convert that LP to a CD.

Just FYI if you have a lot of 45, and 78 and a CD burner it might be worth investing in a turn table with a USB connection. Thanks again brother.

  • i love how in every video there outfits match

  • yes!!! i love them!!! rest on charles pikes...

  • What a great processional, so well done Barrett Sisters.

  • I love these Ladies....they don't sing and holla like this anymore....I love the 70s and 80s....Can we bring back the good old days.

  • tis such a Pleasure to Hear these Girls ....

  • This recording really captures the joyfulness of a Barrett Sisters concert. I saw them live in performance at Wesley United Methodist Church in downtown Minneapolis in the early 1980s, so this video brought back many wonderful memories! Thank you for posting.

  • yessir!!

  • What a wonderful gospel song!

  • Bel hommage à Charles Pikes qui a écrit ce Gospel !
