@clarkie0708 keep the light cycle on 12 hours on and 12 hours off, or give more darkness than light to mimic the short days of fall. The darkness period needs to be uninterrupted or your plant will revert back to vegetative mode. This method is called "Force flowering" because your forcing it to flower. or you can wait till fall comes and your plant should flower on its own.

first is could be a male plant releasing pollen.

secondly it could be a male or a female plant making a new leaf (those also start with a 'ball like thing').

i don't know where you are from, or wether you are growing inside. but febuary is not a (very common) month for flowering.

the only way to determine a male/female plant is around 2 weeks into flowering or budding stage when you plants start to get those nice buds you want. So for female at the internode or where 2 stems meet there should be 2 white hairs that form a V and for male at the internode will be small pollen sacs usually grape fruit color.
