Great video,god that takes me back to when i was a teenager and used to travel there from where i live (150 miles away). 1 ride that i didnt see in your video that i'm sure they once had but is long gone is the huss rainbow! Remember that? I'm sure it used to stand facing the sea somewhere near the main entrance not far from the flying machine but enjoyed the vid so much.

I worked at the pleasure beach in 1996. I have since moved away, but I thought half of these rides were still there!!!!!!!!

Great Video - however it was "The Virginia Reel" latterly know simply as "The Reel" not the Virginia Wheel as stated in the video.

I only knew about three of the rides in this and I miss all three they should NOT have got rid of Space Invader 2 or Spin Doctor. I am glad Beaver Creek went... That place was f**k*d. Im looking forward to the new rides... Some of them look quite good. :)

@Deathriken Yes, although not quite as good as Hex, it has to be said. I always loved the Haunted Swing and it's a wonderful example of a classic old Pleasure Beach ride, however it's been neglected over recent years and is somewhat of a disgrace inside now really. It's a shame because it just needs a few inexpensive touch ups here and there to make it great again

@phoobingcamel I agree, it needs a new theme tune and maybe some additional lighting effects, as well as a new paint job

@coolcabbage43 I think the theme tune's quite quaint & spooky in its own way, it would just make a huge difference if we could actually hear it clearly instead of through some cheap, battered, PC style speakers like it is at the moment! Some new lighting effects would be cool and it definitely needs a paint job. Also the gaffa tape and stink of urine need to be removed. None of those things would be expensive to rectify, there's no excuse for letting it run in the current condition :-(
