@HRHShawnPendragone Considering you use no sources, it's obvious who is actually know what they're talking about. You have no sources, thus making you the "gospel truth". Haven't you ever gone to college or done any research? Once you actually do some studying then get back to me. You have no proof to back any of your claims. You have nothing. Also learn to read.
@HRHShawnPendragone "IBM's PowerPC instruction set architecture, consisting of three independent processor cores on a single die. These cores are slightly modified versions of the PPE in the Cell processor used on the PlayStation 3.[2][3] Each core has two symmetric hardware threads (SMT), for a total of six hardware threads available to games." From wiki's article of the Xenon
@HRHShawnPendragone Well yes, except no. The Cell is a PPC, the same way a Pentium is x86. And the 360 kind of does use a triple core processor, also PPC (and based on the Cell)...
@HRHShawnPendragone Umm, that's not true at all...PPC chips are still made. You can find them in the 360 and PS3, IBM servers, and a few tablets. The 360 even uses a triple core, so it's not like a dual core PPC desktop is even unrealistic. The only really special hardware in the X1000 is the XMOS co-processor, which is available as a PCIe card also, so that is a solidly real technology too.
Good news for Amiga fans! A new REAL Commodore Amiga is in the works and will be available soon. Why settle for a wanna-be-Amiga by some fly by night operation when you can have the real thing from Commodore? For more info just visit commodoreusa d o t net!
