Man it seems like your blowing everyone away with the power from that engine. Is this because no one else in the race is using big blocks? Or do you have some kind of mega charged 302?
@kirmy1 Not during this session. The limiter is set at 8200 and usually kicks-in around 8300. Generally we hit 8000 to 8200 in this car at Road America (depending on weather, tires, timing, how fresh the motor is, etc.).
@rtrestorations im using the hurst super shifter 3. Have a recommendation for something better? im finding it to have a little bit more play then i was expecting.
@rtrestorations What hardware do you run with the shifter? Do you run rod end bearings? I just put in the Pro Billet Shifter today, and i feel like it has a little more play then what i replaced. Thanks for the input!
funny....... this is how i drive to work.

@Go0dSir No big block under this hood...just LOTS of R&D into a 302!

were you hitting the limiter down the straights, sounds like an awful lot of rpm?

What engine code was this mustang originally (and the red #32)?
Also, is the red #32 a '69 --> '70 similar to this #33 car, or is it a real '70?
Thanks!
=D

@B0SSNINE Not sure about engine code(s). Red #32 is 1970 and Black #33 is 1969 made into 1970.

@TostaJ That's awesome! We've had very good luck with our Jericos and run them in ALL our race cars. What shifter are you using???

@TostaJ We use Hurst Pro Billet shifters, and they work pretty well. We've also run Long brand shifters.
