Always looks pretty before they start plowing. I used to love to walk while it snowed. When it quit it always seemed to get colder? ya know? Snowmobile boots, only way to go in the snow! lol thanks, gregg

I live in Southwest Washington, just across from Portland, OR and we got hit pretty good last night. Not as much as you got but I had about 5 inches, and for this area that reeks havoc on drivers. It seems no one knows how to drive in the snow (Californians). I live on a really sharp corner where accidents happen all the time. I wanted to smoke my pipe and watch the cars fight the hill and sharp corner, but I was putting snow tires on instead. So I missed out on the entertainment and my pipe.

Yeah my home town in Albany Oregon is having some bad flooding and unfortunately a car went into a creek and it sounds like someone passed away. Here in Portland all the snow has been rained away.

I can't really complain about any extreme temperatures or weather here in AL, but I'm sick of the bipolarness of it! We'll be in the mid to upper 60s with a low of 50 then the next day the high is 48 and gets down to the 20s. Makes it impossible to adjust lol.

its been real quiet around the midwest also, we go a little last week and then in the course of a day it hit 45 and then went all the way back to 20 in the course of 7 hours, melted all the snow away and rained then turned to sleet.

I got a great big wet snow flake in one of my cobs recently. So big I heard it sizzle when it hit the baccy. Took a couple of days to dry the pipe out. Yea though this arctic front is blowing right through Vancouver, we have had very little snow, just a bit of spitting with some sticking outside the city. The downtown core is a heat island, three or four degrees hotter than the surrounding areas. I hates snow. My Alabama blood never got used to Canadian weather, ergo I'm stuck in Vancouver.
