got one of these in the shop i work at(work up in there studio) and this amp is raw in the 3rd mode vary smooth and punchs through its great. i would like to get it up in the studio since we have no high gain amps up there only clean and mid gain amps from the 60's-70's :P o well nice amp.
I hope that Peter Diezel did not create Einstein; Einstein is originally the name his dog ;-) Anyway, it's impressing how sensitive the Einstein reacts to the technique of the player. Although I'm not a guitarplayer as good as the guy in the vid, my Einstein sounds totally different. It's a great amp!
Played one of these in a Guitar Center. I compared it back to back with a 5150, Mesa Dual Rec, and Blackstar Series One.
It was played out of a Mesa cab and I had a Gibson Les Paul...not sure of the model. Standard I think.
I play stuff like old In Flames (colony / clayman days) and Kalmah (swamplord days). I found the distortion to be BY FAR the best, very unique sound. High Gain but delivers Very Clear Notes. However for 4k....idk. Also told they are prone to failure. Haven't played Engl yet
@PetropoulosGeorge Schecter isn't a german brand, it was originally a U.S. based manufacturer of spare parts until Pete Townsends guitar tech built a telecaster for his boss out of schecter parts in 1983. That was the beginning of the schecter guitar manufacture. Nowadays Schecter is owned by a Japanese company, and their budget diamond series guitars are manufactured in China and Korea by Cort. Great guitars though..

i played a diezel einstein today and a bogner uberschall and this amp MAULED the bogner i've also played a vh4 the einstein doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the einstein but it sure as hell cranks and handles metal tones AMAZINGLY i played 6s and 7s low tuned and in standard to see how it handles in every respect
I was turned off at first by this amp based on the looks. The logo is really cheesy much like Kranks logo is. I tried it though and compared too a Peavey 5150 and 6505, Blackstar Artisan A212, Bolt, and a krankenstein. This amp beat them all hands down in my opinion. Very heavy, full, will tons of clarity.
@stormshadow2k it's interesting that, in order to describe this amp, he used so many english words, that i pretty much understood what he was saying. :-)
@stormshadow2k ?? Why? Common sense dictates what he is saying..just listen to the tones and what happens when he turns knobs. You really need to be told in any language when he goes from clean to dirty? I understood everything he was getting across perfectly wether it'd be in japanese, english, chinese or old roman.
für metal find ich den jetzt weniger geeignet aber obwohl ich ja (wie glaub ich die meisten) ein verehrer der härteren sektion bin find ich den für blues udn so voll hammer...
Ya ya. Vee marchen into Poland now?

you could tell how good the amp is just by the amount of saliva in the mouth of the presenter.

yeah looks are deceiving.....this one has the right to have the slightly cheesy "metal" look, I think.
