Ahh.... this is the Heart I grew up on. Amazing and unique talent. These six people made some GREAT rock and roll. They were a true "band" then. Ann and Nancy's unique femininity married with a lot of testosterone from Fisher and Derosier; Fossen and Lease. Subsequent versions of "Heart" never matched the swagger and muscle of this original team.
Wow this really takes me back to highschool. I had a babysitting job and took my LPs with me and "Rocked out" on their awesome (at the time) stero set-up to "Little Queen".I may have even blown a set or two with this one! I loved how the lyrics were printed on the record sleeve. Thank you very much ladies! <3
One last thing ... there is a final segment to this Video that is missing from here. It Includes further Band interviews and concludes with a stellar performance of "Love Alive"
This was the Little Queen Promo video .. It aired ONE TIME on NBC's The Midnight Special early 1977 .... never to be aired again ... I have a rough copy of this ... even this YouTube footage is not taken from the original ... It exists somewhere in someone's vault
I'll never get over the Queenhood of Ann Wilson. She's so vibrant here, you can feel the fire inside her. She's the quintessential leadman just as much as any of the greats. She IS one of the greats.
They're all so amazing here...I love and miss Howard and Roger together on stage and their chemistry. And I try to imagine myself in the 70s and seeing someone as brilliant and beautiful as Nancy Wilson rocking that guitar and what it would have, could have done to me as a young girl.
awesome coverage! heart has been my favorite band since 1980 when they were the very first concert I went to...was a blast! Did you guys ever think when you wrote and first performed Barracuda that 34 years later it would be one of the major staples for 70s rock? it's amazing how just a few of your top 10 songs from then actually have a bigger influence and are more remembered than most #1s from that era.
Ann is so fine here. I love that album cover. Still my favorite Heart album. Classic in so many ways. Every song is good. How many artists can you say that about? Too few to count these days.
If the performance of "Barracuda" didn't make the hair on your arms stand up just go to a mortuary right now because you are dead. It must be an amazing feeling to know that you are this good. That just massively killed.
Oh yeah ! That's the Heart that pulled my reins back in the day and I still love this band. They know how to keep your love alive. The best live show I've ever seen. Catch them if you can! :)

Wow!...I never expected to see a peek inside that little world you created for the "Little Queen" album cover...And it's really cool to see it now...If your aim back then was to create an "atmosphere" around the album...you certainly succeeded!...And created an intriguing mystery about yourselves at the same time.
8:34 to 9:21 sounds so cool.

sounds really good 7:14 to 7:26, vert psychedelic.

AWESOME! But if you included "Barracuda live" in the title, you'd get about a million more hits. Thanks for posting!

There should be a button that lets me "love" it, not just like it.

1:22 Nancy, it's so mean of you to tease me from three decades ago. >:)
She seems even more into the music in performances at the time of Little Queen than any other time I've seen her.
Yes, Little Queen with my favorite album art ever and music second only to Dreamboat Annie in my heart.
6:36 Ann, stop that. See above.
4:51 "Little Queen" makes me want to dance too.
These two songs aren't the only good ones of this album. "Go on Cry," "Treat Me Well," and "Love Alive" are timeless masterpieces.
