The Western world has helped so much to free Tibet, albeit not supporting the Dalai Lama's promotion of non-violent means to achieve it. Chushi Gangdruk was totally funded by Western governments and the 2008 riots were started by Western spies as well. In the 60's attempts at returning Tibet to a theocratic government failed because the Tibetans would rather be citizens in China than slaves in Tibet.
@ImAMassiveBender ; there were no slaves in Tibet in contrary to China where there are still child slaves. A simple google on Chinese child slaves shows plent stuff. So keep your pro-CCP propaganda for yourself or post it on a CCP site.
The thing the teacher says about Chinese students getting preferential treatment to Tibetan ones is in fact the complete opposite of what happens; there, like most modern countries, there is positive discrimination for university places if you're from an ethnic minority.
@ImAMassiveBender ; lots of information on the internet show the opposite of what you say. There are enough witnesses to proof that the CCP rule in Tibet is disastrous. And the CCP is disastrous to its own Chinese people as well.
awesome my friend..i particularly enjoyed the local photography..the message is an old one and a sad one for tibet..however, everything has purpose..my feeling is that the golden children of tibet will be the ones that bring us, THE GOLDEN CHILD, in the near future..if we could teach children meditation in the usa, it would be a huge step.......adishanti...william
@arafel1964 ... I don't know how difficult it is to put in subtitles. But, if you could add them, and re-post, I would Definitely watch this again! :)
@lrwwolf : Do you mean English subtitles or in another language. Unfortenately my knowledge of uploading does not go farther than ripping dvd's ;) and converting them to the wmv format but I already thought to try and learn more how to edit videos.
@arafel1964 ... Thank You very much for your reply! I did mean English, yes. Sorry, I did not think to add that info, I should remember that in the future :) ... Peace :)
