I don't know much about the game itself, But from what I gather, Drills will safely extract precious metals from asteroids. While the resource gatherer does just that, acting like a scoop to collect what you mine.

@KonceptGameMontages it has been in a pre alpha release for a long time. If you wish to support them you can buy this pre alpha version. it is currently on sale. They also have a demo version that is free to play but if you buy the pre alpha you get a new released version. The game is still in alpha but looks like it could be a good game.

I really hope this game does well! I was always saddened that FPSes with 360 degrees of freedom like Descent weren't more popular.

Is the only multiplayer available going to be online play, or is there a splitscreen co-op/deathmatch mode going to be available? Splitscreen co-op would be mind-blowingly awesome (even if it had limitations on how far apart you could move from one another due to memory constraints, etc).

I'd like to see realistic thruster designs, so it's a lot more like you're piloting something rather than just having a zero g shooter.

Nothing too fancy, though. Just a little touch of hard science to bring this to life a bit more.

This reminds of the classic game sometime in the '90s where Windows was still Windows 3.1... they call that game: DESCENT.

With new technology this game is defintely better! :)

Looks pretty good, and I think you chose the perfect person to spam an invite to. It looks a LOT like Descent, which I love, and it's a mining game, which I also generally like, and on top of that it's got multiplayer, and dogfights that look very awesome.

The aiming is too hard. The trailer showed shooting at enemies for more than a minute and not one enemy was destroyed.

In this video we are using Dumbfire missiles. These aren't really meant to go into a dogfight with eachother. More for digging tunnels.

@dec20056 Drills will let you gather the resources you can find on asteroids so you can raise money to buy better stuff, Missiles simply destroy what they hit without leaving behind anything worth salvaging.
