  • GLOBAL WARMING

  • This really did happen this past January in Atlanta! if you don't believe me, check my channel for actual video footage! There were actual Snow-Zombies and everything!!

  • i dont get the vid.. :/

  • como se llama el programa que tienen

  • 69 people think that this is a common day for canada :)

  • global warming aye!

  • in soviet russia, summer looks like this

  • @pazki in soviet russia, they speak russian

  • wtff man

  • I pity those who can't distinguish "weather" from "climate"

  • I pity those who can't ditinguish "weather" from "climate"

  • In Soviet Russia, this weather all the time.

  • We need to unite and solve the problems of the planet, and stop fuckin it.

Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project, the best ideas i have found yet

  • is this a sign of things to come?

  • It's called winter.. Deal with it

  • What a bunch of wimps... being from the Ottawa,ON area, this 'snowpocalypse' was practically nothing - I don't know why everyone was getting so worked up, I mean, it's winter... it snows in winter... it does this every year around this time...plus, you can't toboggan, or ski, or skate, or snowmobile, or ice fish, or play outdoor ice hockey, if it's warm... so thumbs up for a great winter!!!

  • @lprocter1982

Are you kidding? I've seen pictures of abandoned cars on highways, getting literally buried in drifts of snow. I don't know about you, but where I live in Northern Alberta, that is freaking BIZARRE even for our winters, let alone America. When that kind of weather gets dropped on areas totally unprepared for it, it's a disaster. At least Canadians are well equipped with snowplows, and even we were taxed this winter.

  • It's been pretty normal where I am, we get usual large amounts of snow

    around this time.

  • I'm just wondering, is global warming still around? Cause I could use some of that extra heat right about now. I think this has to be some sort of record amount of snow. I can't recall the last time we got so much here in MO.

  • Ugh been frozen into our homes here in tx. Kids not going to school no work. And it's snowing outside right now. This weather is driving me nuts!

  • Snowpocalypse? More like an average snow day here.

  • There's no place else to put the snow! ARRGHRGHRGR!!!

  • I live in Vancouver(yes Canada). It has barley gone below freezing here, let alone snow. The one time it did snow was when the SGU & Hrab was here.(Yes that was bragging BTW)

  • Yeah...had to dig my car out...late to work.

  • oh come on Plait! it's about time you uploaded something! Mr. Big time Celebrity! hahahaha just kidding. Thanks for uploading, this truly is amazing footage. SCIENCE FTW!!!! wooo!!

  • And absolutely nothing in California, love it out here.

  • sweeeet

  • I'm from southern Michigan and we ended up with about 14".

  • Don't suppose you could do this with Tropical Cyclone Yasi and the east coast of Australia?

  • It's been very sunny here for a few days, here in sunny California.

  • hello, where have you been?

  • I wish some of that would've come here.

  • I'm in Oregon and we didn't get any snow =(

  • Welcome to Canadian weather, USA...

  • @leaf16nut

what are you talking about? i'm in northern alberta, and i just waded home through a sea of slush. we're having a real proper spring. of course, we had one 2 weeks ago, followed by a whole new winter.

    this planet is broken.

  • @neomp5

Northern Ontario here... We have 2+ feet of snow still, and just came off a week with an average of -30.

    Gotta love winter!

  • @leaf16nut shut up...just shut up... lol I'm in Sudbury and I have a huge driveway and a shovel... while everyone down my block w/ smaller driveways have snow blowers lol

  • @neomp5 I live in southern alberta and I might as well be sunbathing...6 above today LOL

  • @Marlage

    IT RAINED TODAY!

    HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!

  • @neomp5 Yep! It's raining today here and it's apparently going to turn to snow a bit later...but that makes the roads fun! :D

  • @Marlage

never mind the roads! the planet's broken! we're having spring every other week! why aren't people rushing out to shut down the coal plants? why aren't people panicking?

  • @neomp5

As I said before, I don't think that one freak season is an indication that things are THAT much worse than before. There has to be a sustained pattern to pin it down. It definitely could be due to overall climate change, but I wouldn't say it's hard proof. Not to mention that you CAN'T stop the coal/oil business cold turkey without anything to replace it, or we're back in the stone age.

Action needs to be taken regardless, preventative measures should have been taken LONG ago.

  • @BronzeDragonrider

i think if we had sustained patterns, we'd be just fine. it's the lack of patterns that's terrifying.

  • @neomp5

I mean sustained steadily worsening patterns. You do have a point with the chaotic nature of it, but then again, how do you know it's not just a one-off? Weird shit just happens every now and then.

  • @BronzeDragonrider

    not this wierd

when i was a kid, winter meant 40 below and blizzards. the last few years we've been going into a panic if we get anywhere near that because we haven't had it for so long. weather is getting freakier every year. it really baffles me how a person can look outside and go "nope, i don't see any climate change. this all seems perfectly normal to me". this planet is reeling from the crap we've done to it.

  • i bet just having 5 billion extra humans breathing on it could mess this planet up. the most important thing human beings can do now is to stop reproducing. we have the technology to solve every other problem if there were just less people.

  • @neomp5 yeah bring on the gas chambers!

  • @neomp5

I don't know, I've seen some pretty weird spontaneous weather.

I'm not denying climate change, it's obviously happening. I'm just not sure you can point to one specific event and attribute that to it. It's harder to say things for sure with that rather than rising trends, which seem to be more verifiable.

You're definitely right that we've been having less overall severe winters, in temp/snowfall. Usually now it's just a few days, and I can't remember the last real blizzard.

  • @neomp5

Although I think it'd be good to check the actual records than rely on personal memory.

  • @neomp5 or the planet is just doing its thing!

  • @tool5150

you have got to be kidding me.

  • @tool5150 It is a fact we are heading into a ice age.

  • @leaf16nut welcome to american weather, Mexico...

  • @leaf16nut Norwegian*

  • phil is a big shot now, he's got his own tv show and stuff :D i watch them all the time! thanks for this and all your other videos.

  • In before global warming deniers, see, see, it is snowing in February, global warming is a hoax.

    Thanks for video, awesome footage.

  • we miss your videos = )

  • @601271 I don't feel welcome. And in all honesty we put up with as much crap here in wisconsin than we do there. Oh and I hate snow
