@MissGia18 Back in these days it was all recorded on VHS unfortunately. I have a slightly better version, but it's sad DVD versions weren't around then. We could sit around a camp fire and I can describe how it was to crawl on top of a 1m high speaker and look forwards wondering who the special guest was.....and then seeing it was HER - I almost fell off. xj

As she walked off-stage out eyes met and I said "thankyou". There were some cable trays on the floor and I put my hand out to help her over them. She nodded and she took her devil horns off her head. She handed them to me and said "Thank You". Those horns are one of my prized possessions!

The best Sydney Gay Mardi gras performance was "What do I have to do" as a firey show with dancing boys 2.30 am or threabouts in the mid 1990's -Anyone got video ? Please post it -God will bless you.

tripppp ... it was 1994. I will never forget that night. I remember the dance floor stopping as people started to cram in for the show, and then it was delayed, so everyone stood around waiting. When the music stopped and the show intro began I remember the crowd going berserk. Yes, please, someone, post it if you have it.

That was such a good night. The build-up to that show was intense. Kylie burst on stage in that huge pink frock with all those dancers just as we were all peaking and everyone totally lost it. Wow.

The way that Kylie sings this song is incredibly high.. singing it whilst sorrounded in smoke & dancing... incredible!

(I can vouch for that first hand!!) Better to let the voice waiver a little but end up with a SENSATIONAL show..which it was

Well she takes it down a key in the subsequent tours and performances to sing it better, so she obviously agrees hehe!

If you want to see her sing this live in the original key, sounding amazing, search for the Minogue Medley on top of the pops - one of her best performances.

I just think she didn't know how to use her voice properly live at this point in her career.

God how wonderful to see this again after 15yrs. This of course was her second appearance I believe? I recall "What Do I Have to Do?" in a pink Ostrich feather skirt a few years prior. Would LOVE to see that on You Tube! Thanks so much for posting this. I'm amazed you managed to get a copy. Mardi Gras guard these things closely. Wonderful stuff.

wow...what a trip down memorylane! i was about 10 rows back, right in the middle of the stage for this show....the energy in the hall was amazing....everyone was losing it, it was kinda surreal. Kylie couldnt wipe the smile from her face and neither could we.
