  • they only have 2 cut out so extremly for the 1st few months so thier bodies can detoxfy and shift alot of weight quickly.then they can introduce all food groups slowly again, and treats in moderation.thier not on this so strict regime for life.its the best way as its like a big kick start then they can maintain a healthy lifestlye 4 life...there was some episodes where gillian went bk a year later to see if they had kept it up,a good majority did.but habits take years to form,so a while 2 deform.

  • "One cheat leads to another." So thin people don't eat bread or drink wine? I don't think so.

  • They should read I can make you thin by Paul McKenna... One of the rules is that you have to eat what you really want. Its a psychological approach - that way pizzas wont seem to be forbidden fruit anymore and you wont be tempted to stuff yourself with it, because you know you can always have it if you wanted.

  • @Ardinka Thank you for the recommendation, I am going to check out that book.

  • unless you're doing solid hard, fast punches for an entire hr, you won't burn 1000 cal boxing...

  • This whole regimen is too extreme and impractical for these ladies. Theyre just not the type of personality to keep up with that kind of lifestyle, there are very few who can. Theyre just being set up for a crash failure. This show.....

  • I know they're on a strict diet to save their lives but isn't it human nature to want what you can't have, and that's why so many diets have small treats? Like, mini chocolate bars (ala Halloween), or a little wine?

  • so fake

  • that´s a too strong regime! I don´t believe they can stick with it for longer than the story lasts... they did not learn how to handle the "bad" foods, and the cravings will come... in my opinion it´s better to allow bread and take away but only from time to time in smaller portions. Keeps the cravings and the weight gain away.

  • @dayquiri1 I know, I think it's all stupid. Why don't they show them ways to prepare healthy versions of their favorite foods? I'm not fat, but the thought of someone taking away pizza and fried chicken from me forever really sucks. Who wants to live on just rabbit food their entire life? I weigh 146 and I'm 5" 9', and I'm actually trying to lose a little weight and tone up. But there is no way in hell I'd give up all my favorite foods, lol.

  • come on.. having some wine and eating bread will not ruin the whole diet!

What kinda message are they sending here?! This is bull...

  • Haha! I love British shows, there are so many side jokes, even at the expense of their leads. 'It's hard not to hit in the middle.' 'What, you don't like me?' 'Not really.'

  • "NOONES CHEATS ON ME AND GETS AWAY WITH IT, NOBODY" holy crap i would not want to break up with gillian

  • shes pissed off because the mom drank a glass of wine, and the daughter had some bread......... wtf....

  • I wonder how some daughters feel when they find out they are fatter than their mothers

  • @1775LostOne it feels rlly horrible:(

  • one day they will also think that these plates are big when their stomach gets smaller.

  • It takes work, but it is worth it. I raised my sons on good nutrition. They used to think

I was a food Nazi. but they sure look great.

  • Gillian is a fucking bully. Also, any credited scientist recognises she's an embarassment.

  • @Merkagee She goes to doctors for the medical stuff. All she's doing is kicking butt to make people eat healthy and you don't have to be a scientist to know that eating crap food makes you feel like crap.

  • thanks for putting all these up!

  • ZUMBA!!!!!

  • I want to make a paleo diet show. I think people would watch it and it would actually work. These shows fail so often because the food isn't satisfying and they try to concentrate on portion size. It's ridiculous.

  • @futoncat I'd be the first to watch!

  • HOT MOM

  • I find it funny that they think those plates are tiny! They're my big plates!

  • @poisonedxveins

I think they mean plates as in amount of food, not the actual plates.

  • Wow - they're both gorgeous!
