Hi dnadsy52! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the video. Yes, next time don't miss the Magritte exhibit.....his magic is worth seeing up close. Thanks again d....it's always wonderful to have your comments. :)
Big smile. Sublime perfection once again. Question: which came first, the music or the images for this mesmerizing video?? I can't help but imagine that in some dreamlike world that they grew out of one another simultaneously. Thanks for continuing to share your creative videos.
Big smile back iris. The images came first, though I have wanted to use this particular rendition of this song for some time...so happily they came together to complete this tribute to Magritte and his wonderfully creative works of magic.
Thanks so much iris, glad you are enjoying this video. :)
I've enjoyed discovering the magic of Magritte through you. I found these quotes of his which I find intriguing: "Art evokes the mystery without which the world would not exist." "If the dream is a translation of waking life, waking life is also a translation of the dream." I wonder if Magritte's passion for painting green apples sprang from his dreams or arose from circumstances in his reality. In dream analysis, seeing green apples represents developing love or love that has yet to blossom.
Very interesting iris. I am familiar with those wonderful quotes. Yes, I also wonder about Magrittes passion for painting green apples.
I have read something to the effect.... the apple, in certain Magritte works, came to symbolize perpetual tension between the hidden and the visible...sustaining a sense of enigma that the painter prized above all else.
Un poco de Paz Buena Musica y Arte ..
