@musa2music - No sorry, I haven't been able to pick it up yet. been scrambling around trying to get the 'Instant Sushi Set" from Tupperware. Unfortunately I only have a standard plug-in rice cooker. if you post a screen or send me a message with a picture of the instructions, I can take a look and let you know what the instructions say. PS. Sorry 4 slow response. - Yoroshiku!!

FYI if your cooking Japanese short grain rice.. you really NEED to rinse the rice, removing most or all of the added starch. its what makes it "sticky"...

@otica do you know long the rice has to cook for in a 1000 watt microwave i have a microwave ricecooker for my japanese short grain rice but i got it off a website i really like so its in japanese so i cant tell how long its supposed to be in there so i don't burn it.

@ariesthis --do not put the actual Tupperware Microwave Rice Steamer on the stove. I think you mean those are the measurements for making rice on the stove?

@ariesthis erm but she said 1 cup of rice = 2 cups of water. I don't know what measurements to do coz I always do it by estimating. But I want to try the measurement way so I always get the same results. By the way I make sticky rice. Thanks in advance :)

I got my rice cooker today but there are no directions for cooking brown rice. Could you tell what the quantities and cooking time are for brown rice?

@eosh97 --i came here for the same thing!!!!! I have Uncle Ben's converted long grain brown rice. Have tried to make it in this device & it always boils over terribly.
