@at90percent Not really, Beach Baby is a "golden oldie". Burrows never mentions any song he recorded with the first class, or any other group, so having the opening of one of his classics is excellent!
Also Chicory Tip, Edison Lighthouse, The Pipkins (with Roger Greenaway of Blue Mink) and White Plains - in fact, he made 3 appearances on a 1970 edition of Top Of The Pops, fronting Brotherhood Of Man, White Plains and Edison Lighthouse.
Why did you credit Elton John with "Lucy in the Sky" ? The original is by the Beatles, released in 1967. But I guess Elton John's cover was released as a single. Still...
@AgainWithThis all the namechecked songs in the song were hit singles - The Beatles original of Lucy was an album track - they never released it as a single - so they could only have been namechecking the Elton recording
Great video montage especially toward the end- you obviously put a lot of work into it matching all of those songs! Loved seeing the live footage of Tony singing with Sue & Sunny- where's that from! Gotta see the full footage.
i feel that way today- whatever happened to rock and roll. what are we gonna do about today? however, we can't have too many golden oldies. we just need some decent new music.
tony burrows was a class act but this is shit.

@regentv980 I agree, although the 80s and 90s were still far superior to what they call music now.

First class song in many ways

The beginning of this song rips off the beginning of Beach Baby badly.
Yes, I know this is the band that did Beach Baby, but still, kind of shameless.

Yeah, your right. It does kinda start off like Beach Baby.

Sue and Sunny are on the original Brotherhood of Man song 'United We Stand'. They were also on TOTP with Cocker when he did 'Help from my friends'

Tony Burrows (the lead singer) was also with the original Brotherhood of Man!

Echo the comments by music expert. I would LOVE to see any footage of Sue & Sunny. Doctor's Orders perhaps anyone?
