My dad took me to see Mary Poppins when it came out originally. He enjoyed the movie as much I did, maybe more. Watching this trailer brought back some wonderful memories of us watching the movie. I have seen Mary Poppins since, but it has never been as enjoyable as that first time. Thank you for the memories.

Wow, the trailers back then were much better that the ones we have now. I cannot stand the guy who does almost every film trailer: "THIS YEAR...blah blah bleck UNTIL ONE DAY." God it puts me off films so much when they do that. Just let the film speak for itself like this.

Sheesh, 4 minutes... I mean, Mary Poppins is nearly 2 1/2 hours long, but if played in theaters, this trailer alone would allow you to get lost in traffic and still not miss the feature presentation.

I chuckle to imagine rabid Disney fans camping out for tickets to a crappy film, just to see the Mary Poppins trailer, and then skipping out on the movie once the trailer was over. I know that would never happen, but I can dream.
