This is a great song. To be honest, I never associated this song with being gay (for reasons unbeknownst to me), but now that I actually do, I can say that it doesn't matter if someone is gay or not. They should be judged based on whether or not they are a good person, if at all.

Well, I personally haven't come across the bible saying homosexuality is a sin, but that's probably just me, or I probably missed it. I still thinks it goes against the ways of a Christian when Christians are taught so strongly to love all and to treat a person as you want to be treated.
I open my religion to lots of things, including the conspiracy theory that the Bible was made to control the public. So I wouldn't doubt myself missing or forgetting it.

Also, the Bible does state that homosexuality is a sin, and so many people follow that book word-for-word. That's wrong in my opinion because it's outdated, but people still do it.

However, if love sends you to hell, there is something fucked up somewhere, so I don't believe it was anything more than a human prejudice being placed within the Bible, instead of a divine one.

The two singers are not lesbians, the music company they worked for forced them to act lesbian for marketing reasons. Which is really quite sad because they're so talented and they had to prentend to be something they weren't.
