I made those cinnamon chips for my husband and I. WE ARE ADDICTED! It's so easy and cheap! We actually like making these a lot better than going and buying potato chips in the store. We made them with whole wheat tortillas though so they're healthier.
I made this dip for my family Thanksgiving dinner today and everyone LOVED it! Thanks for the recipe! So easy, but sooo delicious. I'll definitely be making this again.
I made this today for my family and I'm 14, so when I told them that I wanted to make a pumpkin dip with homemade cinnamon chips they were like "Okay..." but they all LOVED it! Thank you so much for this great recipe :))))
You just make me mouthwater! i was just cheking on ur vids and u got many more! gr8!! I like this... Two thumbs up!! I'm totally subscribing. greetings to leesha and chelsea!
neiher one is very sweet. It really is the consistency that you are looking for. Something that might be spread or is a little heavier/thicker would use cream cheese and something that is not as thick would use sour cream.
So I made this tonight, so good!! It got my mom, who HATES pumpkin and basically anything pumpkin scented or flavored, to enjoy pumpkin. It was way lighter than expected, and the flavor was excellent. Thank you!
I live in France too and it is soooo hard to find canned pumkin! ( for the fellow youtuber who posted 30 minutes ago, we can find plain pumkin puree at 'Picard' around Thanksgiving, which is the only alternative I've found) Not to mention cool whip...and THAT is trully impossible to find...
Great recipe Mary! I love pumpkin, and i have a hard time coming up w/ recipes other then pie. You look so professional you're getting really good at these cooking vids lol.
do-able... not like alot of other cooks whos stuff never comes out like they show on the videos, yours are great and the ones ive tried so far have been really great!! Cant wait for the pumpkin cookies cuz altho I hate pumpkin pie I do like pumpkin bread so Im thinking the cookies will be good also....♥
How awesome! I've been wanting to make a pumpkin pie from scratch so I'm looking forward to your pumpkin roasting/baking tutorial. Thanks for all your great videos! ☺
Wow looks so easy and delicious. Love that it's low-cal, especially if it's made with reduced-fat or fat-free sour cream. I look forward to your other pumpkin videos :)
I absolutely loooove pumpkin. My favorite flavor of fall (or any season, really, but it's just so fantastic during fall). I will definitely try this dip and I'm looking forward to your other pumpkin videos. =D
they're generally just like any other chip, just be sure to keep them in a plastic bag or something aware from the open air. my family has been making them for years lol
I get nervous every time I see you cutting something in your videos lol. I don't want you to get hurt, a damp paper towel under the cutting board prevents the slipping. But I love watching you, you have the easiest and yummiest looking cooking ideas
this looks delicious!!! I was wondering, though... is there any way that you could do some vegan recipes or at least recipes for people who are lactose intolerant? your food looks so yummy and I thought it would be amazing if you could do that :)
i agree! although they have vegan sour cream and cream cheese that tastes just like the real thing, and even soy whipped cream which is delicious! you can totally make this recepie vegan friendly :)
yes, vegan/vegetarian products have gotten really great and realistic and I'm very thankful for that :) It would be cool to see other stuff though! I'm personally vegetarian, but I recently learned that I'm lactose intolerant so my diet has become semi-vegan and I'm new to learning vegan recipes... especially for desserts!
God, I wish we had those in Europe! We don't have any of the substitutes you mention in France.
But yes, I'd love to see some vegan recipes! Each time I see a new video from xcookage I pray the recipe is vegan! But they normally aren't hehe I still enjoy watching the videos, but I wish I could cook some of them and taste them!
I'm excited for the pumpkin recipes. Be sure to get them up before halloween, I'd love to try them out so nothing goes to waste after carving jack-o-lanterns!
I made this last year for my family Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. I'm making it again this year for sure!

why do some recipes use cream cheese instead of sour cream? what difference would the two make in terms of sweetness and tartness/sourness? thanks!

Crazytesco 2 years ago
Crazytesco- Try Dream Whip.
Paulina89 2 years ago
okay sounds similar :D

Dream Whip is almost the same.
It's just that cool whip is already made and in the fridge. Cool Whip is the food of the gods, but Dream Whip will work ok.
