@leisurelydinner Wrong, you have risky shots that make this game a keeper. You can choose either you wanna have a precise - close to the line - shot or a powerful hit that should get your opponent, if your position is good enough. TopSpin 3 is the best tennis game out there.

i think the most realistic part of this game is that when you miss time the shot....you will miss hit it for sure....and also the computer opponents do faults and also double faults sometimes also on match point.....virtua tennis 2009 opponents never hit faults.....the ball doesnt hit the net....hardly ever goes out.....

Virtua Tennis 2009 is a shit compared with this one. Virtua Tennis 2009 is an arcade game while Top Spin 3 is a simulation. So stop saying that Virtua Tennis 2009 is better than Top Pin 3 because it's not. Only the graphics are better in Virtua Tennis 2009 but that's all, the gameplay is false, the ball is giant...

lo que pasa es que juego muy bien y no creo que nadie me gane a este juego , se como se apretando el boton del jostick , sale muy fuerte la pelotita y meto todos tiros ganadores , o en mi saque se como meter aces , en todos mis servicios de saque meto aces ,por partido llego a meter 25 aces , hasta le agarre la mano en la red se volear muy bien , meto puntos muy buenos de volea , saludos desde argentina .

yo en mi xbox 360 le juego al top sin 3 , me elijo a cualquier jugador de poca tecnica tipo el de italia ciccolla ,y lo pongo en dificultad muy dificil y juego una exibicion contra federer y le gano 6a0 y 6a0 , apenas me mete 10 puntos la computadora en nivel muy dificil , o juego contra nalbanadian o tamas berdich y le gano igual por ese mismo marcador , no me hace partido la computadora ,ya estoy cansado de ganar facil .

The only thing I dislike about this game is the difficulty to master the risk shots,,,,,,.......and also the difficulty to play using the women tennis players compared to how easy it is too play as someone from the men's tour like federer .....and the crap thing is that they could have replaced the fictional characters with some of the current players....and last but not least, there is no nadal for X box 360....:'( (though i'm a fed fan)

Excuse me TOP SPIN 3 haters. It is a great game and these videos don't do it justice. Career mode is extremely amazing seeing as I challenge myself with hard difficulties. Furthermore, These videos make TOP SPIN 3 on PS3 seem similar to a PC game i.e TOP SPIN 2. To conclude, TOP SPIN 3 is the best tennis game on a next gen platform at the moment due to the fact that VIRTUA TENNIS 2009 is similar to a button basher, whereas, TOP SPIN 3 is a game of timing and real tennis instinct.

Top spin 3 is not perfect .... BUT if you can accept the true nature of the sim style it's very enjoyable..... Sometimes the players dont react like I think they should but that's really my only complaint.... It's no doubt the best tennis game on the new gen consoles....

the career mod just sucks...after 1 year as a junior i played just another season as a pro and then i had to fight against the legends and did the grand slam (each grand slam in one year)

after this looong periode the mod was finish and it was all......

i think that's one of the badest points about this game

when this game first came out i woz so excited about it. I thought it was so realistic and when i got it i couldn't stop playing it. Now i realise that there are countless things they could have done to improbe it especially as they call it a sim. I mean nadal doesnt even swing like nadal, and thats just one small thing. Its still much better than virtua tennis but there should be a big improvement on topspin 4
