We have watched a whole bunch of your videos tonight. You are such a talented cook and a great teacher. We are praying someone will give you a job as a top chef at a great restaurant. They would be lucky to have you! These videos could be your job resume. Maybe you could open an Asian catering company in your town. Start small. Dream big. Good luck!
@HunterMann: The uploader refers to the name of the recipe not of the ingredients.. so what if its from India? It really doesn't connect.. The food's name is Chinese Cashew Chicken.. If you want you can make your own Cashew Chicken recipe and name it Indian Cashew Chicken...
you are excellent Kai.. Thank you very much for all these secrets.. I have a question do you know how to cook almond duck... is duck like in a sweet and sour sauce with plain almonds on top
I think that is not Chinese music in the background, and another thing: Chinese Cashews? Most cashews used in Chinese cooking are grown in India... If you are going to make it authentic, don;t forget to add lots of corn starch and MSG!

It's not about HOW he cooks, it's the basic keeping-the-info-accurate: cashews are grown in India. They are not Chinese cashews. Learn to read before insulting people.
I'm not a dude, cowboy. Sicne when is it an insult to offer commentary on other people's food recipes? As with movies, art & books, there are also many food critics. If you are not a food critic, then don't dare put salt or any other condiment on someone else's food, since that would greatly offend the chef...ha! There are starving people all over the world and the foodies have the audacity to argue about about radiccio and baby carrots.... Absurd!
@nickfromcincinnati They use various oils, even pork lard in some regions. I have seen peanut oil used often. As it has a high smoking point this seems good, also the Chinese brands have a mild peanut flavour (unlike groundnut oil which is also made from peanuts, odd eh?) that adds to some dishes.
Perfect! Eating it now.

you could skip the chopped veggies and add a cup of frozen veggies like my resturant does

This is great but isnt cleaning the pan an unnecessary step? Why not keep the flavor from the chicken?

what do chinese use to fry their food, what kind of oil?
nickfromcincinnati 3 years ago
I think the oil in the video is canola oil (just regular cooking oil)
