naw, darkrai isn't evil.... He was just misunderstood in the movie and at first he seemed to be the bad guy until his apparent death in the near-ending.

Wikipedia: Darkrown Trivia: Actually, there already is a Darkrai Evolution, its name was Darkrown, although it was just fanmade and wasnt official, it still made it to be added as an official pokemon in some Site Games like, Pokemon Vortex, Pokemon Sigma, Pokemon Lake, Pokemon World Online V.04 - V.08.a and Pokemon Glacier.
