I have a question. I got a violin for christmas, because ive been wanting one for a long time now. (Its a sexy glossy purple violin if i may add). Every time a try to tune the cords it would be tuned to the right note, but when i let go of the peg, it goes back to being loose. And its with every peg. What would you recommend i do? (other then taking it to the music store.)

I love your playing but from my little experience (cough.onelesson.cough ^^") Shouldn't your bow be played closer to the bridge to make it create a better sound? My teacher told it me that being farther off makes the sound not be as good.

@ErnestoGustavM First of all, I do play all sorts of concertos. I play Vivaldi, De Beriot, Accolay, Mozart, etc. How do you think I learned to play in the first place? Obviously I'm no Itzhak Pearlman so there's no point in uploading those online. On the other hand, pop music is my hobby and some people actually like my covers. If you think its for six year old girls then watch something else! And PS if these were meant for six year old girls, there would be more than two covers online lol.
