savage please help.....ok i dont do good in school im 2 lazy to do my work im failing like 3 classes out of 6 classes..but i score high in every test i take.....sumtimes i get perfects sumtimes im like 2 questions away frum perfect....ok so im in 10th grade 2nd semester if i start doing good like get straight A's, do my hw, join activities will i be able to get to a good school but i really slacked off in ninth grade i hardly did any work.....please help

I don't know about taking AP US history next year. I'm kind of having a tough time with AP euro, but I still can't make up my mind still. My mom is still telling me about studying for SATs also. PRobably start soon but I still have one more year before I take it Junior year

@Warriorchicken007 no, pretty much the only thing colleges look at is your Junior year, SAT/ACT scores, and class rigour

@TheNikkaNick thats 33% false. the look at your entire high school transcript, not just junior year. junior year is the most important as it is your highest rigour level from the time in which the initial transcript is sent (beginning of senior year) than per request they recieve your final transcript, reviewing your senior year grades to mkae sure you didnt tank. extracurricular activities are also important, not just school

like for me i try to get good grades but then i never understand and i try i can study for 3 hours on a math test and then il get a f on it iv gave up any dream iv ever had of a 4 year college

@irage15 study 10 minutes a night. cramming is a sure fire way to forget as your storing it in short term memory which last for all of 20 minutes. studying a little bit a night allows you take information and store it into long term memory.

I plan to not take any AP/IB classes only because I enjoy the time I am as a kid you know I only have 5 months until I am a adult. I am taking the ACT/SAT/Acuplacer for community college. I plan to got to Maryland State and get my Enginering degree major.

@animetodamaximum Yeah i understand some people don't take AP classes. If your a senior AP classes are kind of pointless for your college application because they really don't look at your senior year. AP classes are really not that hard its just elaborates on the information on regular classes.

@SavageNoScop3 I did have the abiltity to be in all AP classes but I came to the conclusion some people I knew in standard would fail pretty much with out me reinstating what the teacher says in a easier to understand dialect. But yeah Easy 4.0 due to the fact that teaching something is the easiest way to learn what your doing in school. I just got straight A's due to a fluke because my retarded ass teacher making test scores 85% of my final grade. -_-
