I agree with MongoPeace. They may look underweight to American's, based on our standard of over/ underweight, but they look perfectly healthy-- Our horses (we have 18 of them) annually lose weight during the winter months simply because roughage food like grass is scarce and we have to supplement with hay. Once the grass grows back, they gain weight.
