I've been playing Zelda games since the beginning, in fact I just beat the original gold cart for NES this summer, and I can honestly say Skyward Sword has a CRAZY appeal to it; it's magical. Skyrim FTW, over 100+ hours of gameplay, epic story, epic abilities and powers, great customization, MASSIVE enviroment, sick weapons and lots to keep you busy, it really does suck you into its world, and allow you to do anything you want. U3 was good, but i dont think it really built much on the last game, nor did anything really surprise me, and the villians and ending wasnt as good as U3, MW3 doesnt even deserve a nomination, all it has is popularity.

@SolidEliteForce I completely(for once) agree that action adventure and voice overs for any characters, as far as the awards go, definitely go to Skyrim. I am blown away at the detail and emotion the game is setting, and I'm only a parcel through the game. In addition if there was a award for best story of the year. Again it would go to, you guessed it; Skyrim.

Skyrim FTW, over 100+ hours of gameplay, epic story, epic abilities and powers, great customization, MASSIVE enviroment, sick weapons and lots to keep you busy, it really does suck you into its world, and allow you to do anything you want. U3 was good, but i dont think it really built much on the last game, nor did anything really surprise me, and the villians and ending wasnt as good as U3, MW3 doesnt even deserve a nomination, all it has is popularity.

For game of the year it haves to be that the two that are closest to win have to be Batman and Uncharted I played both but I have to say Batman is epic in both story and ending man i hope Batman wins!

Honest question, for people that vote for any other game besides Dark Souls, have u guys played Dark Souls?
IMO Dark Souls is WAY better than Skyrim and better than any of the GTOY nominees and I own and played all of them

@SolidEliteForce I completely(for once) agree that action adventure and voice overs for any characters, as far as the awards go, definitely go to Skyrim. I am blown away at the detail and emotion the game is setting, and I'm only a parcel through the game. In addition if there was a award for best story of the year. Again it would go to, you guessed it; Skyrim.
