  • I have been eating one meal a day and two meals max for many years now. Of course the portion of your meal is important. Recently my meal consists of broccoli, salmon and eggs. I noticed my body rarely feels hungry anymore after that meal. But what is more important is whether you do cardio regularly.

  • Check Hershal Walker. He use to play football, but now he's 49 and in MMA. He's been eating one meal a day since he's 15. Look up Hershal Walker cutie!

  • Luv your eyes!...:D

  • No dont eat it at 3

you should eat it at dinner time which is after 7pm.

  • beautiful, you don't need the makeup

  • I never noticed this but it actually worked for me. For about a few months, after school, i would gorge myself on food and not eat again until around the same time the next day. The number on the scale just kept going down so i continued. Now that i eat breakfast, I'm losing weight at a slower pace. I just started my raw food diet so I'll see what happens when i incorporate this! Great vid

  • You are so beautiful.. <3

  • Scarlett Johansson's twin.

  • Herchel walker eats one meal a day and he's a professional mma fighter and ex football player. If it works for him I don't see why it won't work for others out there.

  • RAW VEGAN DIET!!! is your best bet

  • i wouldn't even try it!!!

I heard fastening is good, but a mean a day??? Try doing it and see how it works with YOUR body. Remember everyone body is different. Don't just listen to some person who wrote something...

  • I've only eaten one meal a day since i was around 16, 125 lbs and I am currently 31 and 135 lbs. I started doing so because I just have a small apetite I can't say I've had any negative effects, I don't know if it's something you can intentionally do, you might feel hungry and not keep with it. For me it was just how I am. Good luck!

  • @Capnsensible80

Hey capnsensible80, i'm curious : do you exercice a lot ? I wonder if one small meal a day could sustain a very active lifestyle.

  • @SexyAlien2

I don't exercise a lot during leisure time, just the occasional skating session. But I do work a physically demanding job (loading trucks for Fed-Ex)

Although I only eat one meal its generally a quite a full meal, not always but frequently.

  • one meal aday does work i lost 10lbs in 2wks and i feel better than eating3-5,smallmeals.

  • i started eating one meal a day an im feeling very sick to my stomache all the time it almost feels like i get morning sickness like a prego woman an im not prego lol its the weirdest thing im tryn to get used to it i walk every morning about 2 miles but not seeing results i want 2 b down to a 7 im a 12 now ppl tell me i hold my weight well so i dnt look as bigi want 2 have a nice body u by sumer im nt sure if im dn this the rit way if any 1 hs sugestions email me at richardsonshelby45@yahoo.com

  • @MrMontez1987 Warrior diet says to strength training mixed with cardio. Look up sixpackshortcuts 700 calorie workout. Its only 20 minutes and its on youtube! That workout is easy and awesome.

  • I began intermittent fasting a week and a half ago. I'm looking to lose weight, but I'm also looking for a change in the way I eat because I find conventional diets don't work for me. I'm not raw or vegan, but my diet is consisting of lots of fruit and veg and lean proteins - mostly nuts and eggs. I'm going through a slight rough patch now but otherwise I am really liking this and hope to make it my lifestyle and that it will help me with my weight goals.

  • hi rosalie matt here from middle TN im on my 4th day of the warrior diet and i got my first video up its pretty cool im not gonna lie its hard for me lol but i like your videos and you seem like a good person lol God Bless !

  • Smokey Santillo started me on the RAW FOOD DIET in 1980. I am 55 and I have people whom I meet ask me if I am 25 yrs. old? I experimented through the years with the raw food diet. I tried the Fruitarian diet and we now know that it is very bad for ones health and most Fruitarians die young! I tried eating one raw food salad a day and although it was somewhat easy, felt a lot of energy, but I looked older. It in some ways felt like it was actually stressing my body so I stopped.

  • @xsiranthrax .Your Wrong. The myth of calories has been well debunked!.

You could do this diet but your blood sugars will be crashing.

So do the diet and see how you feel and check the results, that's the only way,try it.

Environment is so important. When I was in the Amazon for a long time we ate what we could when we could, there was not time limit or set numbers of meals.

  • Nooo, if you have a very small 1 meal your body will start packing fat, if your going to do this try a large meat large veggies large fruits large dairy. Have 1 meal of the nessicary sizes of each food group

  • ...Believe you me, this way of life is amazing to say the least (at least for me it is). It's funny to see people who are getting tired around 10PM-12PM, & that I still have A LOT of energy running through my body, plus it's just a hellavu lot fun to EAT a lot at night, after 8PM, basically stuff yourself with food (Healhty raw organic food of course, what else), & still lose fat AND build Muscle at the same time, voila better then this you ain't gonna get it nowhere! Thus I spoke comrades

  • The Warrior Diet is the BEST of the BEST for Athletes or people that need A LOT of ENERGY during the day... it's the BEST for people who want to lose those unwanted pounds of ugly ass fat (Stubborn fat), It's the BEST if you need to get a lot of shit done in a day's work, the good thing about this "diet" is that it simply is NOT a diet, it's a LIFESTYLE! Not only that, but after you've done it for a while you don't wanna go back to the old BS of 3 Big meals a day or 6 small meals a day

  • If this meal contains all essential macro and micro nutrients in the recommended amounts u should be fine if not even healthier.

  • HOLY SHIT SHE IS HOT!

  • Six weeks ago my weight was 198 pounds. I am 5'10, male, 27 years old. I do zero physical activity other than walking half a mile every day. I now eat a very light breakfast (one yoghurt, a little bit of cheese), a good meal around 3 PM (not too loaded, but still good enough) and plenty of water throrough the day. I now weight 178 pounds (a loss of 20 pounds after 5 weeks) and I definitely look better. My goal for Christmas is getting around 165 lbs and stabilizing my weight there. I feel great!

  • I HAVE BEEN BOXING NOW FOR 7 YEARS AND I USE IT TO GET IN SHAPE FOR MAJOR FIGHTS. 1 MEAL A DAY AND 8 GLASSES OF WATER. NOT LONGER THEN 6 WEEKS. YOU WILL LOOSE EXTREME WEIGHT BUT YOU GAIN EXTREMELY QUICK AFTERWARDS. HOPE IT WORKED OUT ROSALIE!

  • 1 meal a day lmao retards.

  • @juicedbrik

    :D

  • I have been eating one meal a day for years. I own a MMA gym and this diet helps keep me at peak performance. I also recommend this to my students, who are not as healthy as I am although they are younger. It may be difficult at first but you will adjust quickly. I usually eat the meal in the evening or night after I leave training. Your body will thank you...

  • the whole summer ive only eaten one meal a day cuz im too lazy to cook lol

  • i have to add this thou, you know your meal isnt large enough if you get the taste of pear drops in your mouth during the day before you eat, if you get this i advise making the meals larger, and maybe making your small snacks slightly larger also

  • 3 o clock is too early, best to wait till about 6-8 o clock, you can actually eat a larger meal then normal, infact the bigger the better, the food will go to your fat stores and will all be used up untill your next meal. you will find yourself to be more alert and responsive, you will have more energy, and your body itself will begin to become more ancient greek like, basically you will look more like a model, and i dont mean those skinny things, i mean the actual sexy ones.

  • I use to weight 140lbs, I got a sit down job, I ate one meal a day and fruit a lot, I had two jobs and I was on the go. Now I have a sit down job, I started back eating 3 meals a day, I went to 169lbs, tried 6 meals, that was to much, one meal a day works! Make it a big meal. Im going back to one meal a day. It keeps you slim and reduce cravings. I does not slow your metabolism and it reduces body fat, giving you more body definition.

  • Diet is like religion, everybody thinks their way is the best.

  • @dickenstom It's not a religion. Its pure science. You have to fill your body with calories and fatal elements like fat, protein, carbs and microelements. Its not a religion its just if you eating healthy or not. One meal a day is not healthy. Give me at least one scientific article with good experiment(there is lots of bad experiments) about that. People are dumb. This is it.

  • I'm totally with macomarell on this. Been on WD for about 6 months and I feel awesome, energy to spare all day and not hungry... and nice, slow but steady fat loss to boot. I love it.

  • You're so beautiful.

  • first off, your realllllly pretty.

    =]

and i've done this before and it really worked.

but i gave up too soon and did something else. something bad (puking)

and now that i stopped, i gained all the weight back.

but i'm going back to one meal a day. i need help tho, cuz i'm tring but it's soooooo hard to get back on track. and it may take longer to lose weight because of what i did that messed up my body.

that 5-6 meals a day sounds like bullshit to me.

    keep us updated =]

  • your eyes... your lips... your smile.. voice.. so beautiful =O..

  • I only eat one meal a day because I never get hungry. If I eat more than that, I get a stomach ache.

  • Listen very carefully,if you want to ruin your health and be like a sumo, then follow Ori hofmekler's advice. That way of eating is exactly how sumos gain FAT!.

the best way is vegetarian food with some salmon or fish. no crappy carbs like crackers or bread and eat very small meals, every three hours, drink water and walk a lot. that's it. Ori hofmekler was a soldier in the Israeli army ,he has no scientific training and frequently contradicts himself.

  • @rockcityaudio false, the warrior diet only requires one large meal of roughly 2000-3000. Sumo diet requires 2 large meals of of 10000 calories each.

  • lay off the makeup

  • you look SO MUCH like Scarlett Johansson

  • It works, I lost 80 lbs. in 3 1/2 months...

  • @JAC110177 It sure does work. All this eating 6 meals a day makes you crave food and makes your body anticipate more food. You can train the body to eat one big meal a day. I ate fruit and drunk fruit juices in between, and I ate like this because I was on the go and went to 3 meals, gained a lot of weight. Our ancient ancestors survived like this. I does not slow down the metabolism either. The diet market will not show this on tv!

  • ive been doing this for 2 years now and im still in good health

i guess my body got used to it

    i lost weight doing it

but its more a big meal one time a day

i dont worry about what i eat because

i know it will give me energy throughout the day

alot of people tell me i shouldent

but my docter says im in good health

my body got used to it its working for me

i dont know of anything too bad that whill happen i fear if i stop then i will gain alot of weight back because my body is soo used to this

  • it does work but if you don't keep excersicing or walk anyware you feel week because your matabilism drops i weighd from 17 to 10 an half and did feel dissy at times!!!!!!!

  • i at one meal aday while i was in college i lost alot of wait while i was their i droped down to about 10 and a half stone but their can be side effects for example i did feel dissy sometimes but just be carefull on how you do it if you eat meet i recomend you do !!!!!!!!!! helped me out for energy!!!!

  • u r stupehd

  • @Ottokar002

    ROFLMAO

  • Comment removed

  • Famous french-egyptian italian singer Dalida ate one meal a day ... all her life !!!

  • How did it work out, Rosie? Fruits and vegetables aren't dense enough in calories for this to work.

  • just one sentence... you're too hot to be on youtube:_PPP

  • 5 stars for looking good and not costing me a lot of money on the grocery bill! Ha-ha-ha.

  • I've been mostly eating one meal a day myself. I don't have the time for breakfast, and it would usually make me feel sick anyways. I'd rather not spend money on crappy lunch, so i skip out on that as well. As soon as I get home I usually pig out though, but *mostly* on good, healthy things or foods that are mostly neutral. To be honest I feel better than I ever have before, I have more energy than ever before.

  • eating 1 meal a day would be unhealthy imo.

  • I could already tell from the title. (Attention whore) However, just wanted to put this out there, you are going to have diarrhea for a while. As I don't really feel like getting into the details of reason (but I can) I'll leave you with, enjoy that...

  • @OmniSalvation aka backlight22

why don't you show your ugly face so i can expose you psichopatic sociopath to youtub?

threatening people of murder will get your ip tagged you poor excuse of a fascist fuck .if you were not such a retarded douchebag coward, maybe you would show your face when threatening people you don't know of murder huh? you fascist asshole

  • Eating one meal per day will slow down your metabolism This means that the calories you eat will be stored. Your body automatically goes into starvation or famine mode and stores calories, so that there are energy reserves, in times of severe food shortage. In this case, your body does not know that the famine is self-induced by you eating only one daily meal. Lose weight the smart way. Eat six small feedings, do cardio exercise. You will lose weight in a healthy way.

  • @39dominic you say if you eat 1 good meal aday you will gaine fat and muscle?

I am skinny and i would like to gain some weight.

  • It's not a bad way. But don't do it with just salad. you have to eat some sort of protein and carbs in you meal. it has to be balanced and hearty. No sugar of course means skip dessert and only drink diet soda if you like that stuff. I used to just drink club soda all the time more than water..

  • I do it without restricting myself. I'll eat a really big lunch between 2-4 in the afternoon. Eat whatever type of food ill be in the mood for that day and then I won't eat anything for the rest of the day.

  • YOU LOOK LIKE SCARLETT JOHANSSON (idk how to spell her name, so it's 100% wrong! - but hey, i have a life :D)

    soooo pretty!!!!!!!!!!!

    greetings from czech republic! :D

  • Well, I eat one meal a day...because I don't have money for food usually...and I never have time for breakfast in the morning...

    >> so I only eat dinner..

and any little snack a friend will toss my way....

and I don't feel any better...it didn't really do anything for my body...besides now when i DO eat that one meal my stomach really hurts as its not used to food...>> so not such a great thing..also its harder to concentrate..>> how did your attempt go?

  • I've only eaten one meal a day for the past year (this is out of college-student poverty more than anything) but I feel damn good about my body nowadays.

I've always been thin, but since doing this I don't have tummy pudge anymore.

To be fair, I sometimes have snacks (mostly Pistachios or cheeses...sometimes cheeze-its and candy though :P) as well as the one meal though.

If you're going to do this do NOT only eat salads though. That sounds insane to me...eat real, filling food.

  • wow this dude needs to get his dick sucked

  • You should be sustaining your weight not decreasing it.

  • You should be eating 4-6 very small meals a day that include 'fat burning' foods if you want to really lose weigh. Eating only one meal per day would actually slow down your metabolism (your body goes into starvation mode) and this will cause you to gain weight in the long term.

  • @39dominic Are you sur? how did you find that out?

  • i am doing this now and i think i can lose some pounds but the thing is, when school starts ima eating 3 meals again then i m gonna gain :( what should i do? help!

  • I like to eat raw, but if I'm only suppose to eat one meal a day I would have a hard time eating enough kalories (if I eat raw, so I would have to eat more unhealthy foods, more kalorie dence.) or... what do you think? how is it working for you?

  • Rosalie, has anyone told you that you look a lot like Scarlet Johansen?? ( a brunette version, of course!)

  • how big sould the meal portion be?

  • You, are so hot.

  • I been eating 1 meal per day since i was 20 i never eat breakfast but i eat a little sometimes when im really hungry like an apple or something small.I am 6 feet tall 180lb and in pretty good shape and only been to the doctor once in the last 10 years

  • iv been eating once per day ever since probably more than ten years ago and pretty mutch ate one major meal ever since.I am still a pot head and smoker and i feel pretty good at 6 feet and approx180lb axcept im bald now but never liked hats cold up here in canada one meal per day with 1 or two things when your stomach says give me something now is the way to go becouse i look like im in excellent shape but i get pretty good excersise ast work sorry about the long message bye, bye.

  • I've been eating 80-10-10 for the past week or so and eating most of the food between 10-2pm i'll down 15 bananas or so in a sitting

i don't think i'd want to mix a bunch of different foods into one meal though. this morning i ate apples and persimmons fairly short thereafter and that didn't feel very good. so keeping it separate feels like the thing to do, but definitely why not eat the mono-meal as one meal

  • Please don't take this the wrong way, but you are super hot, and; I enjoy your posts because they challenge traditional thoughts on how humans should eat to stay healthy. In addition, there needs to be a new fitness revolution as well.

  • I've been on the Warrior Diet for about a year, it definitely works, but it works even better if you cleaner food like whole grains, lean meat, vegetables, and nuts. You can also go completely organic for the maximum nutritional density in your meal, but if you can't afford it that's okay.

During the day, I usually have one apple or one cup of ganodermic coffee or green tea, it gives me all the energy I need. I also take some hemp protein to serve as my recovery meal on days that I work out.

  • yes i have for a month and weeks now and im goin to do it until the summer time i feel great im only 13 years old to i know u probably are shocked born nov24 1995

  • I'm combining the warrior diet with the paleo diet, meaning I'm eating 1 meal a day but excluding dairy, grains, legumes, and potatoes from my diet. I've been on it a few days so far and I feel pretty amazing.

  • Now all you have to do is get into Meditation and get in contact with your higher self.

  • I plan on it. :)

  • I'm on my second day of Warrior Diet, the fasting during the day is gonna take me some getting used to. The book recommends eating at the "end of the day." Not as hungry as I thought I would be. Learning more about raw foods. Just been doing "whole foods", you know meat potatoes, beans.

  • 1) You are absolutely gorgeous

    2) I am going to try this as well..been watching Ori Hofmekler on YouTube and a lot of what he said not only makes sense but seems to fit what I've been reading in some of my research for health and nutrition. Thanks for this video

  • One meal a day isn't crazy or unhealthy. It's really the opposite. I've been eating one meal a day for a little over a year now and I'm at the physical/mental peak of my life. I'm physically stronger, have more stamina, I think sharper, memory has dramatically improved, I've only been sick twice, my blood pressure and glucose levels are practically flawless, and this is quite frankly the best thing I've ever done for myself. I personally think this is how human beings are suppose to eat.

  • Hi, what time do you eat? and what kind of diet.

    Thanks

  • I usually eat in the evening, particularly around 4 or 5 O'clock pm. And I skip a meal every other day, meaning I only eat once (at 4 - 5 noon) every two days.

  • @Harun251 how late do you eat?

  • Comment removed

  • I agree with macomarrel. Ive just started doing this too (2 weeks) and have lost 10 lbs. Its hard to believe I dont feel tired. In fact I have more energy. Im going to slowly increase my calorie intake when i reach my goal but yeah so far so good.

  • I don't think eating one meal a day is crazy or dangerous. I do it and find it very easy to do. I am not hungry all day long, not even at dinner time. It is very beneficial to me. My energy level is much higher because I am not digesting food all day.

It did take some time to get there. I sure didn't do it overnight. I started with just fruit during the day.

  • SISTER thank you for saying this video!! Elijah Muhammad said one meal a day is good but one meal every two days is very good! There's a book here at the hermitage of a guy who ate one meal a day, i'm gonna read it and let you know wassup with it!

  • Elijah Muhammad was a fake motherfucker, he was not a real muslim, just a fucken poser, wanted to do his own shit in the name of our religion.

Mohamad(pbuh) said that b4, and all arabs used to eat that way.

if u wanna know the truth about Elijah Muhammad just watch Malcolm X

  • The fact that you rest the credibility of your opinion (of an accomplished black leader) solely on a ficticious, hollywood autobiographical speaks volumes about your intelligence. "Malcolm X" was propaganda, and showed only half the real perspective of the main character (Malcolm). Spike Lee didn't pull any teeth to leave out Elijah Muhammad's side of the story. Every half-truth in that film has been disputed. I recommend you do some hard research, and truth will find you if you're honest.

  • "Mohamad(pbuh) said that b4, and all arabs used to eat that way"

That is certainly fresh information. I don't recall anything about Muhammad of 1400 years teaching his followers to eat one meal a day or one meal every other day. Please provide me and the rest of the muslim community with such esoteric evidence. Even if "Mohamad" did teach one meal a day, the critique remains; why aren't his so-called muslims practicing it today?!

  • Call Elijah Muhammad what you want but he was a very wise man. He knew about eating healthy and 1meal or 1 meal every other day before any of these people who are talking about this now.

  • That's actually where I first learned of it!!

  • how did it go?

  • try shorter hair cut it will look better on u, u r so beautiful btw

  • it would be cool if she shaved her head like the lady in V For Vendetta.

  • I love YOU!

  • Starvation mode is a lie. But people ad dumb enough to believe anything the so called experts say the same ones with an agenda!!!

Fat is stored energy you eat less and burn more. Thats all and it don't matter how long you starve for you only starve when all fat is depleted and body starts using muscles to survive.

  • i have been eating one meal a day for many years and my health is very very good . i have been doing this for about 7 years so its great i havent had any of the crap other people have said. i started to lose weight in the beginning i lost 50 pounds and i never gained it back.

  • Really? I have been doing this for about 4 months and lost 15 pounds. I dont feel any worse and am getting the same grades in school, the only thing thats different is i feel good about my self now! glad to hear you didnt gain anything.

  • RowWithRosalie, are you sure you've read that book?

The Warrior Diet doesn't suggest to have only one meal a day, but to make supper your main meal.

  • Hey there, good luck with your experiment. I will be interested to see how it turns out for you..

I've been doing th warrior diet since April 08, so just over a year now. I prefer it to eating a few times a day.

I also train up to 3 - 5 days a week, so in response to VedicIntelligentsia I do think it can work for an athlete if you time your meals and training sessions well.

  • cnt imagine eating 5-6 mealz in a day. anymore its a nusiance! and yea i eat my big meal in the afternoon aswell but keep myslef a lil hungry so i can eat some protein salad before i sleep, rember to sleep atleast 2-3 after u have eaten anything. you got any questions hit me up.

p.s ur hot as hell girl dam! lol sorry cud not resisit myself from saying that.

  • i do wats called intermittent fasting, eating a huge meal in one go was a problem for me was kind of difficult to get in all the macronutrients from one meal. what i do is undereat or fast for 16-18 hrs and take in all my nutrients in a 6-8 hrs window. i started doing this wen i was at 10%bf its dropped to 7% in a month more muscle deifination, more strength, more focus during workouts i do drink black coffee before training. its amazing how good this is, am enjoying food more.

  • I'm researching a 'one meal a day' diet. My intuition is telling me that noon is a good time to eat the meal...

Usually I don't eat till the afternoon and then I eat all through the night -this is on workdays-

On my days off, I'll graze all day and night...

  • I have however found that I, during fasts and after days where I have eaten less,am both stronger and more flexible then otherwise.I have never done so for any extended period of time though, again because I´m still unfortunately a bit stuck in the bodybuilding way of thinking. But i plan to try something in that way of eating soon.Maybe having only one solid meal, and then a few smoothies throughout the day.

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck, and hope it will be a positive experiance for you.

  • This is a subject that I find fascinating.I´m really into yoga and many in the yoga community eat this way.Partly for health reasons but also because eating often is said to disturb the mind and occupy the body, and thereby slowing down both the mental and physical evolution. That said I personally have never tried it mostly because I´m also a bodybuilder , and have been so for many years, and I´m still stuck in the "6 meals/day"-way of thought.

  • Good for you. Take in all the opinions you can, but only your experience will decide. You look plenty healthy anyway...but if you're not feeling energetic...have you looked into PH?

  • I think I could do one meal a day. I eat most of my calories from 5 to 7 anyway.

I might give it a try.

    marjie

  • Yes, yes, I was into this one meal a day thing for awhile. It is supposed to slow down aging. But I couldn't handle it after two weeks. I was friggin starving, I couldn't even train, the energy was not there. This diet may be good for some people but it wouldn't work for an athlete.

The easiest way to lose weight is running. Two miles a day will do wonders for the body, providing you are eating healthy food.

    Peace

  • best of luck and well wishes with your experiment. Occasional under eating, I have heard, is good for you. Research as you go and try not to overlap. I wish you all the best!!!
