they are trying to optimize the game so it an run on lower spec PC and look better

(personally id be happy with medium settings with DX11 but because i have a lower res monitor with a 5870 and AMD Phenom II x4 965 i may be able to do high/very high )

CryEnginge 3 is more optimized than CE 2 so it will look better than it and needs lower System Reqiurements than CE 2 -... Fail ;D
