@MrToxicpudding what is wrong with you? Hu? maybe this dude wanted to give people the experience to watch fire flies in the summer time, who don't get to see them where they live! I've never seen a fire fly before, and so i really enjoyed this video!!!
I enjoyed watching this brief video of fireflies. I too have memories of fireflies from childhood. They are no less important to my well-being than my memories of my biological mother, and are in some cases, shared memories, shared in my thoughts of my mother, as well as simultaneously enjoyed by both me and my mother. I will share them with you as well aed68. I find that I have an easier time sharing them with other people who 'let them go' after.
I love lightning bugs! They are right now on the outside part of my window screen lightning themselves up. I used to love catching them as a child and then letting them go. God how I miss those times! Sorry for having to remove my previous 2 comments just now that I had just posted. My keyboard is acting up and causing some serious typo issues for me.
thats so amazing. ive never been off of the west coast so i've never seen lightning bugs. I'd feel like I was on pandora or something if i did see one.
Haha! I also live in Louisville and I can't tell you how many I see at night. There is so many that it looks like glitter. It's an amazing sight and hopefully you can see it sometime. They are even more fun to catch them because you always loose track of the one you want to catch.
love the birds! sounds like my house. Just did a search on lightning bugs and found this... oddly enough I had recorded bugs here just yesterday as well :) but I took out the sound and put in a tune.

Cool! I'm jealous, we don't get those in Oregon. First time I ever saw fireflies, I was 14, and I haven't seen them since.
Thanks for posting this video! :)
