TOO COOL!!! I have always loved Amanda's eye brows. I have been wanting to mimic them, but didn't want shave my eye brows. Man, you video was so helpful. Now I need to find the products used. I have never used Mac products before. But I will definetly be checking 'em out. That's for posting. Very helpful. :-)

So, I dunno if she has one, but if she wanted one you are totally good enough to be a pro-makeup artist for pro-musical artists! It's like " art on the front of the art"!

Interesting to me is how you flattened the eyebrows and how much those techniques have been perfected for shows like Star Trek and other such in sci-fi movies and the like. Is that where you get that technique or did you invent this version yourself?

Something that helps keep eyebrows down is glue them down with washable glue stick, it works really well. I use it when I have to do dance perforamces (cheshire cat in my latest one) :D

i feel like you should have made the brows more arched...and maybe brought the end close to the corner of your eye..also u could use a marker type eyeliner....would be less messy

See when you said, apply a "white cream" to your eyebrows.... be a little more specific? is it make up? or what?

i like the way u did the eyebrows... excluding the soap. id use the brow finisher stick by MAC.

& i never use my fingers that much while doing my make up. always brushes so i dont get oily skin.

I used the soap to show an alternative to fancy products for those who don't have access to them.

Also, fingers are an artist's best tools. There is nothing wrong with using your fingers, especially when you are working on yourself.

i'm a model and have gotten this done quite a lot of times.. no, it doesn't work SO good, but well enough.

my eyebrows are about the same size now (eh, accidental plucking, ouch) but with lots of hair in them.

oh btw, if you dislike the idea of soap in your face, some hair wax would do the trick.

i use the typical "green and gold" hair wax for this.

Thank you for all the nice comments! To respond to all the inquiries about the length of time it took, it took about 30-45 minutes. The eyebrows were what took so long, while the makeup itself only took about 10 or so minutes.

for thicker or not so cooperative brows try using purple school glue sticks - apply thin layers and wait for each to dry. Works great because it's water soluble when you're done!

Oh, I don't doubt that, but do remember that her eyebrows are shaved off, while I had to use a technique to mimic such an effect without actually shaving them off.
