People, its obvious that Etrius is still alive, having taken the powers of the chosen one, and the General wanted to give the orb to his superior for some evil plan. And ??? is probably some greater demonic "Evil" that is the leader of the others. My guess is that ??? is the dragon, and he wants to go to earth to take it over as well. And also, my guess is that the ??? who says "Llllooooooooyd" in this video is actually Etrius, who can sense Lloyds presence within the castle, even though Lloyd

Okay. Etrius isn't dead. He's the main damn character. Lloyd is probably alive since he's badass, and I don't think Oscar would cut his story just there. Also in Part A of Repercussions, that wasn't Lloyd. That was an illusion of Lloyd. Hopefully Oscar sends out more answers soon.

and another proof that i got is: after you see the place where Etrius died (in repercussions D) you see a flashback and you can see the same place of that explosion when "???" call Loyd

guys, right before the ??? calls out for lloyd, there is a maniac laugh. Listen for it at 2:34. Then there is a huge explosion at 2:42. Then the evil's retreat. I think lloyd is doing something in there the evil's arnt happy about, and are rallying to stop him.

Strange how they all chant Lloyd's name. I don't think Etrius is dead. Judging by Johansson's ability to replicate a real 'cinema esque" story, I'd say Etrius isn't done yet. If you watched the "castle series history", the "chosen one" (I forget his name) died on the same stand Etrius was on, but he left his "secrets" and apparently his powers into the ball Etrius grabbed. Etrius blew some guy up, and knew the General's intensions. I just think it's too big of a section to exclude. My two cents.

@Guitarstar300 I also agree. Etrius has to come back post-Repercussions. Watching the end of Part D2 leaves little doubt in my mind that Etrius is still alive, and there wasn't much doubt anyway after watching the prologue. (BTW it's the"Wise One".)
