Big daddies are not hostile towards you unless you attack them first or pester the little sister that's with him too much.

There's a couple of things I hate of Bioshock... Take a look at that plain-color polygons flying around at 2:47... it cannot be...

His graphics aren't all the way up, if you look carefully you can see a tad bit of pixelated goodies on the textures on stuff like doors.

the city of rapture is in ruins, and you're trying to escape without being killed by all it's crazy inhabitants I guess.

Bioshock as you'll see or may have already seen has a lot of references to the bible, heck raptures is a direct reference :o it's meant to be like the garden of eden and such a paradise. There's reference in every which corner you turn. ADAM, the currency needed to gain plasmids and tonics, and EVE the energy needed to use them, they're all references. :3 ^^ it's a reference in visualization and philosophy. :3
