i clicked on update and clicked shift and alt (using a mac) and selected the firmware and it said that the firmware file was not avalible. please help.
hey your link worked and im now on 4.0.2 but when i plug it back into itunes it says ipad cannot be used please download itunes 10.1 so i did that and it still says cannot be used please help no longer avalible to sync ?????????????

Yeah, mine doesn't work either. Mine updates, but the iPad just shows the iTunes connect picture on the screen.
